That particular addendum was a constant companion to my school report card during my last several years of teen-dom, along with such gems as “if only Lawless would apply himself” …fortunately, my completely uninspired school record aside, I either wore my teachers out or charmed them enough so that instead of keeping me around to grace them with my presence another term, I managed to keep passing and becoming someone else’s joy of life. But what if I hadn’t? Well, there but for the grace of God go I - with no more fanfare, I present to you: Lawless, the twenty-nine year old private school student, and yes, I’m as creeped out by this post as you are. I cant stop thinking about Wooderson from Dazed and Confused and his classic creepy quote “that’s what I love about these high school girls, man - I get older, they stay the same age”…

So yeah, knowing me, it prolly started with the Blitzed Classic belt, which I love so much that Dove told me I'm not allowed to keep wearing it with outfits any more, feel my pain? Working down, I wore these ever so faintly pinstriped pants from MUWU, namely the Boy Next Door pants, which I figure set me down the road of recapturing my private school glory days. This led me to the inevitable inventory search for “school” and a winner with the Mechanism school boy outfit vest and shirt. I love the rumpled up feel to it. The school crest and my slapped on SG Monocrom black tie had me wanting to form a clique with my snobby friends Logan, Sumner and Reese and vacation in the Hamptons….love you guys! Although it comes with a collar, I fiddled a bit and ended up using a collar I liked more better and less worse from one of my Valiant shirts, go me! I really love the Maitreya armwarmers, with great texturing and a very realistic look…I think I wore them mostly cus I was freezing my arse off RL at the time…see you winter, don’t let the door hit you on your way out! if you sort-of kind-of like the beanie hair from GrueLing Designs (I know I did), be sure to grab it for yourself, it's scripted with all sorts of happy fun goodness.

Last and definitely not least, my new Xing boots from Shiny Things - instead of a thousand words, the picture tells you they are awesomely detailed as usual, so grab your piggy bank and go get spending. In the meantime, I'm going to go and write comments to myself in all my old high school annuals from all those girls I was afraid to talk to…ain't revisionist history the best?

Sarcastic Mr Know It All...

Okay, I don’t really know it all, but I do fake most things with great confidence! That being said, here's what I know about Cowichan Sweaters (Rylan, put down your new Crackberry and pay attention, it's learning time). These thick wooly beauties were originally made by women from Vancouver Islands' Cowichan Tribes in the late 1800s - hand knit in one piece, they are a unique and essential Vancouver souvenir for hipster tourists and retro art nerds alike. Not convinced yet? Well, Ralph Lauren thinks you suck, and he'd also love for you to buy one of his machine made imitations at Lord and Taylor for one-hundred dollars more than you can get the real thing here! (as an added bonus, I'll let you take me out for lunch while I lather you with compliments) Anyways, enough about “the Cowichan Sweater” and more about this one, the En Svale Cowichan - it's definitely my favorite out of the several I've managed to hoard in-world, great texturing, prim collar and cuffs, and a jacket or shirt option. This is the sweater I wished I could have stolen from my gramp's closet when I was younger, but alas, not too many native Cowichans in Scotland, who knew?

Feeling nostalgic, I wore some old favorites, my Armidi chinos (sighs as he reminisces about all those good times oh-so-many months ago….like eight?) One of my favorite accessory makers, Eko, changed their name but not their standards, as detailed in my Classic Belt V.2…not only great looking, but unlike the V.1, nobody was killed during the human avatar testing phase.

I chose the old brown Combat Boots from Hoorenbeek partly due to their brilliant detailing and comfortably worn in look, and partly due to my yearning to create an outfit that emulates something that I kick about in RL during these bleary winter days - and Australians, you’ve had summer long enough, please send it back here where it's needed….Canadians need melanoma too!
P.S. for all of you that commented on my “grandpa sweater” and my “old man sweater” while I was wearing this, I'm making a list, and I'm checking it twice…oh wait, that’s Santa…carry on, then.

I’m not locked in here with you, you’re locked in here with ME!

....that of course, holds no meaning for you if you have not ever read the Watchmen graphic novel, or at least perused the new movie of the same name. Suffice it for me to say, the movie left my inner geek both sated and pining for more Rorschach, to whom the opening quote belongs, although I'm pretty sure I'd not want to be locked in anywhere with him myself. ZCal Decosta not only sensed my inner longing, but took the next step and gave me my very own Rorschach avatar, and holy hell does it rock. This comic book tribute is the full meal deal, coming with an AO, skin, shape, full outfit and best of all, ZCal’s take on his mask, a constantly morphing inkblot - although I'm still searching for the dog with his head split in half….all I see are pretty butterflies.

As for the rest of this blog post, I'm going to put the baby to rest, so skip to the next feed if you’ve already ate your fill of drama pie today…I wouldn't blame you, I'd do it too!

My last post, the apparently infamous “pink” post was inspired by a real life story of a student who wore a pink shirt to school and got bullied and picked on for his choice of clothing - in fact, this is the first post I had ever made that had a message. Because of that, I built an outfit that was outlandish to go with the message I hoped people would pick up from reading it, mainly that “NO MATTER WHAT A PERSON WEARS, NOBODY HAS THE RIGHT TO BULLY THEM BECAUSE OF IT”, physically, or mentally, or whatever…as such, IT WAS NOT ABOUT WEARING THE COLOR PINK, OR LIKING THE COLOR PINK, OR NAMING YOUR PET LIZARD MR. PINK. I purposely made an outlandish outfit in order to make this point - I figured wearing my new pinstripe MRM suit with a pink button shirt would not get the point across, because people would just think “oh, why would anyone ever pick on someone wearing something that looks like that”…it was not meant to be a fashion statement, as anyone that has read my 70+ posts know that I dwell mostly in blacks and leathers and kilts, etc. If you missed the point of my post, I honestly have to assume either you never read it in the first place, you are pretending to be too stupid to get the point, or you are legitimately too stupid to get the point.

So, a few days later, someone posted a “NO” plurk to my look as represented in the post…I was not offended by some perceived critique of my outfit, because, duh, the outfit was supposed to be something out there that would normally incite your typical school yard bullies to arms (get it? I wasn’t telling people to wear this, I was telling them to respect a person's right to choose DIFFERENT in rl) thusly, I was annoyed that this person (mistakenly?) chose the only post I have ever made that wasn’t about a fashion choice and misled people who only had that picture (without the benefit of the post that went with it) into thinking it was some kind of fashion statement for the year 2009. Thusly baited, people were commenting WTF type comments, even culminating in one person stating that my avatar would fit right in at the local gay bars. Ironically, the pink-shirted teen was called homo by the bullies all day….that’s what happens when you removed the context. Now, the original plurker has every right to post her “NO” and “YES” plurks, but I feel she did my message an extreme disservice by removing a pointed picture from its context and creating the same kind of ridicule that motivated my post in the first place.

As a backlash to the whole event, several of my friends and several people I have never met in my life posted pink outfits under the banner “YES”, to bring the focus back to my original blog message, that of anti-bullying….I had nothing to do with that event, because I felt I had already had my say in the first place - anyone that claims that I organized that event or called out to my friends to foment it in the first place is a liar, simple and plain…or they have been misguided by liars. Anyway, next year, I will get off my lazy arse and actually post before the event happens…that in mind, I better start planning now, you think?

Ink Pink, You Stink!!!

First of all, I’d like to apologize to any girls I may have said that to in grade school. The pink you were wearing actually looked quite nice on you and you truly didn’t stink. Truth be told, I kind of liked you and I was trying to impress you with my uncanny ability to rhyme words - the fact that we didn’t keep in touch tells me I missed the mark. Alas....back to the Pink. Here in B.C., last week, many folk took part in the annual “pink shirt anti-bullying” day, where kids and adults alike were encouraged to wear pink to work, or school, to show their support to put an end to bullying. The movement had its start on the east coast of Canada a few years back when hundreds of high school students showed up at their school to show their support for a grade 9 classmate who had been bullied and called a homosexual for daring to wear pink the day before (because only homosexuals wear pink, right? and of course, homosexuals should be assaulted because they are not hetero, right? Oh, how I love the simple reasoning of the modern day cro-mags)….so yeah, I’m a few days late, but that really shouldn’t be any surprise by now.

The pants were easy, since I bought every color-variation of fightclub pants in existence, I knew there was a pink pair waiting to be let loose on the masses. I used to wear the occasional pink shirt to school to bait the wannabe bullies…although that only works a few times if successful. Before I vacate my soapbox for mellower pastures, seriously, if you think that you can identify someone’s sexual preference by the color of the clothes they wear, you are a prehistoric twat that needs to get out more - and if you believe wearing pink could actually affect your desirability with the opposite sex, you need to stop dating bigots and work on your fragile ego. So, yeah, Dutch Touch just came out with some nice simple colored tees, in both jacket and shirt layers, with an underwear layer so you can rock them with your low cuts. Appropriately, I bought the pink one...but I feared that I would burn your retinas out, so I wore a vest out of sheer love for all three of you, my dear readers. I’m glad I did too, because this was one of those purchases that kind of fell between my inventory cracks, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw Ache's Riders Down Vest - I like the patches, and I like the way they managed to get the vest to look puffy without going overboard and creating a black flotation device…props! A long-postponed trip to Boon rewarded me with both a new bad arse skull necklace and an even badder curly black hawk, which I used with great effect to finish my “wear pink and carry a big stick” look. Where’s the stick you ask? As official half arsed editor/censor, Dove deleted that picture…ie – removed it and put it in the secret folder on her C drive….

Big In Japan

You know what's really big in Japan? Salamanders!! They have these giant bishes that are big enough to make shoes out of them - in fact, they may already be doing that…I'll ask Winter, if anyone has a pair, he will. I digress though, so back to business…cus if there's one thing my blog is, it's all business! My thoughts of Japan were originally stoked by one of my regular visits to WMD, and a pair of aptly named Ronin big in Japan jeans. I love WMD jeans, wanna know why? If you nodded yes, just look back at some of my old blogs - you lazy fech - I'm moving on. I decided to dig out a jacket I had been meaning to sport, which was also bedecked with a Rising Sun…coincidence? Nah, not at all. I really liked the look of the M65 jacket from NoaR, from the sleek, black color to the slightly faded front pockets and the flared cuff prims - one problem I had though was the waist prim, which I couldn’t make jive with my ao, no matter how hard I tried (which means all 10 seconds of my attention span).

You know what else are big? Iguanas!! Not in Japan though, but in Nassau for sure. Fresh off the boat, I saw one in the ditch and tried to creep up on it in a testerone fueled attempt to impress my mates (ie – girls) and found out not only are they big, they can run fast like cats - and in this case, in my general direction, which caused me to scream in a very schoolgirl-like fashion - not that there's anything wrong with that. If I had been wearing my RL Aussie boots, I may have just kicked the vile lizard…I guess I'll have to settle for kicking lizardmen in-world with WMD’s take on my favorite RL boots - nice texturing, and you can get them in either regular or lizard-kicking grungy.

My new Find Ash hair, the Worker's Holiday may or may not be big in Japan, but I'm sure it would be huge in Derek Zoolander's world. As soon as I put it on, I started bugging Dove to make a “Magnum” pose, so I could walk around the grid challenging people to walk offs and just being really really ridiculously good looking. So that’s another day in the life of, and now I'm off to feed my Komodo Dragon, and by “Komodo Dragon," I mean my willy, and by “feed," I mean inject it with this stuff guaranteed to add inches to my “Dragon” for a meager 250 dollars!!

Elvis has left the building...

I hope that’s seriously not coming as any kind of news to you, if so, please accept my apologies and welcome to 2009! Although I missed his final pelvic thrust by a few years, I do have a friend who is an Elvis impersonator, and that obviously makes me an expert...right? Which is why it was so obvious to me that Elvis would have loved my new RJK2 jacket from sey…had there been several pounds of gold sequins added, of course, in lieu of sequins, sey gives you lots of attachments to play with, including a sweet jacket belt and two, different, resizable collars. I don’t generally dig pictures and slogans on my clothes, but I liked the funky collars and the black piping enough to override my prejudices - plus the picture is on the back and if you are checking it out instead of my arse when I walk by, something’s wrong with you….just saying.

In true Elvis fashion, I went to dig out my flared white pantsuit only to find Dove had used it as a grease rag while she was working on her Ferris wheel…kids nowadays! Instead of crying over spilled milk, I seized the opportunity to go shopping and voila - old stock denim from garage r.h - casual jeans, worn out in all the right places, and dark enough to suit my purposes, big arse cuffs on these bad boys though, almost 1950’s style, you know, like back when Elvis was hot. I knew that I needed black hair for my outfit, I could have tried one of the five hundred hairs I already have in my inventory, but that would have been taking the easy way out, and I'm never one to shirk my impulsive buying responsibilities. Thank you Sadistic Hacker and your Jetlink Hair in black for helping me complete my Dragon Ball Z Elvis…cus of course, that was his favorite cartoon ever…don’t believe me, don’t worry, I'll add it to his wiki right after lunch - isn’t the internet grand?

The next time someone accuses your mother of wearing combat boots, tell them, yes she does, and they’re the new short combat boots from Tonktastic - once they realize how brilliant these new boots are, they will wish their mum was so fashionably attired as well. These boots are scripted for both resizing and color change, with several options available...and that’s on top of the fact that they are amazingly detailed, which is par for the course for Tonk. If Elvis had been wearing these during his stint as a G.I., he may have gone regular army and quit his day job…heh. Finishing off my uber realistic Elvis 2009, I slapped on a new skin for effect…my koji skin was the perfect choice because everyone knows Elvis had some Cherokee in him, and Cherokee and Asian both share the letter…erm...well, I'd love to stay and chat but my peanut butter and jellybean sammich is done and I’m a growing pop icon!!

Remember the Tartans!!!

Fourscore and nine days ago, our forefathers brought forth this post on my blog - erm, ok, there were no forefathers involved, it was just me, and it was only nine days ago that I started this post. You’d think with that much time behind it, this would be the most detailed, wondrous post ever, but nope….par usual, I got distracted by shiny things….*purr* But, not wanting to be the last kid on the block to blog this coat, I realized I better get back to it and - - - oh bloody hell, I am the last! Oh well, at least I’m the only kid on the block with a testicle named “George” to blog it (thanks Pie!). Anywho, a coat this ace deserves a little more time in the limelight, so I’m happy to do my part. Masaru Raymaker’s new tartan wool coat is a great looking addition to your burgeoning closet, with awesome detail and texture work, prim collar, skirt and sleeves, and a texture change muffler to help you add color to your outfit if you so desire (and all this time, I've been adding color by carefully dropping the occasional four letter word into my chats….who knew?)

To help me clean up my image is my new Ross hair from MADesigns - rich, black, sleek, I liked this hair, enough to even slightly modify my head to make it fit more better and less worse (plus I just want Maddox to like me...and drop the stalking charges). If this particular hair isn’t your cup of tea, go check them out anyways, because they are spitting out new ones faster than I go through Dove's money - ok, maybe not that fast, but they’re only human. Also, If Winter is an eye whore, I’m not sure what that makes me…perhaps an eye concubine?? Either way, while you’re at MADesigns, check out the eye selection…my pics don’t really do them justice, but would I wear them if they were shite? After all, I have a bad reputation to protect!!

Finally, I wore the John Doe jeans from Kari…and not just cus John Doe was the guitarist in one of Americas first-ever homegrown punk bands (though it helped)...nice, kind of heavy looking, black denim texture and a cool cuff with some funky white stitching all worked for me. I left my Pornstars in the closet, and they didn’t even have to be pried from my cold dead fingers…wonder of wonders - Hoorenbeek is to blame, specifically their Patagonia Boots. They’ve made a nice, simple looking work boot, perfect for the winter, or for kicking blog editors who nag you for nine days to finish your post…though I wouldn’t want to scuff the richly detailed toe caps. Hmmm, where did I leave those steel toed Doc Martens I bought the other day?

Bringing Shabby Back!

Get it? Cus I’m back, and yeah, sexy was taken, and I figured I may as well stick with what I know. So, yeah, apparently its been a few months, how time passes when you’re growing a Playoff Beard ™ (it’s a Canadian thing, eh)….and it totally failed, as my beloved Denver Broncos are now either on the golf course or hanging with Jessica Simpson in Cabo, but hey, dare to dream! This Lodur beard is my very first facial hair purchase, and while it's not going to win Vain Inc. scrubby beard of the year awards, it's fairly decent…I mean, I’m wearing it, aren’t I? Plus it's named after a Norse God, bad arse enough for you?

Some other Canadian staples at this time of the year are boots and jackets - I always thought it was more of an Eastern Canada thing, but three feet of snow in three weeks can't be wrong… (although it's so, very, very wrong). What better start than a down jacket, in this case the quilting down jacket from M.R.M - jet black, awesome textures, nice prim hood, and sleek enough to wear out after you’ve finished shoveling the driveway for the third time in the same day….not that I’m bitter. After a few months off the grid, I headed straight to Primitive Design, my port in this winter storm. My Riot jeans are incredibly detailed with great cuffs, although I’m generally loath to buy torn up jeans, there was enough going on to make me pause and then spend Dove's lindens greedily. As a bonus, this particular version are called Little Bastards, it left me pining for simpler days growing up with my gram and her foul words of endearment.

These boots were made for walking…maybe all the way to Florida so I can room with Nic until the sun finds its way back to the Northwest (I promise to put the lid back on the toothpaste). The Ashige Heavy boots from Dirty Linx are pretty damned cool, what with the textured flames and metal toe plates - plus I’m a shoe bitch, so yeah, it was going to happen. For men’s boots, they were a little on the small side, which means I had to mod the hell out of them, but nothing like fitting my hair under a hat, so no worries!

I mean, if you want to worry, worry about how the hell I’m going to get the ladder set up in three feet of snow to knock the snow off my fechin satellite dish…any takers? In the meantime, if you need me, I have to go convince Dove to shave the Playoff Beards she’s been growing under her armpits before she starts making me braid them….heh, she’s such a good sport…...I hope.

No, this is not my incredibly epic ode to Rob and Fab, but a nod to the changing of the guard in Vancouver - as the sun prepares to go wherever the hell it goes for the next four months or so and we do our best impression of the UK. Yes, sadly it's time to fold up my well-worn tangerine speedo and break out the trench coat…or in this case, go buy a trench coat. Making that purchase more than easy was SF Design, with one brilliantly detailed piece of work. The coat has some very sweet texturing, and prim cuffs, shoulder straps, with a flexi bottom in small and large sizes - my favorite part is the collar though... standing up at just the right angle (I was going to say “standing erect," but then Winter would be distracted all day tomorrow and not get any work done…see how I have your back?).

Having come into some money lately (Dove's), I decided to take the plunge and go to Redgrave to get some new Fall footwear! My new black leather boots are nicely detailed, and the best part is that I don’t have to shine or waterproof them…..ever....not that I do that in RL, but it’s on my voluminous list of things to do. While I was on my spending spree, I dropped in at Muism to get me some jeans…the Vintage Jeans come in several variations, and though I'm usually shite with choices, it's always easy when one of the choices is “dirty.” The jeans are great, but I already knew, cus I saw Nic rocking a pair last month…don’t tell him though, lord knows his head is big enough already…or was that his feet?...shrugs…

The very best thing about summer's end in Vancouver is that your hair care = wearing a toque for four months…think of all the shampoo and conditioner you save!! Panache and Kari obviously understand this philosophy and thus provided me with a new beanie and hair, can't you just feel the love? Appropriately messy and black, it’s the cap stone to my gloomy alley “hey mate, do you want to buy a watch ™” look! Yeah, that’s right, I trademarked that look, so step back you poaching bishes! Last but never least, Lurvebite’s Sofia London gave me my Toasty Thermal Shirt...if you’ve never checked her out, go for the following reasons; she's cute, she makes different things (in a good way), and I said so!!

And on that note, I'm off to watch people fall out of their underwear on Survivor….does it get any better than that?

For those of you keeping score at home, baseball playoffs are just around the corner - of course, being in Canada, I'm far more excited about the upcoming provincial sled-dog championships and igloo building extravaganza, but that’s another post. Realizing no slugger is complete without a bat, Primitive Design brings you the “action bat," blood, spikes and all!!

Yeah, that’s right, the Yankees might not be swinging any bats come next week, but I sure as hell will be! This bat is fully functional in RP sims, if that’s your bag of marbles - after chasing Dove all over the tree house for a few hours, I can vouch for its functionality…they say you only hurt the ones you love, right? As much as I've sort of had my fill of camouflage pants, I've got far too big of a man crush on Geyer Schnyder to leave the store without buying a few pairs of his new Camo Pants...bedecked with prim cuffs and side pockets, they come in both long or short versions and I won't judge you if you get some too!

Speaking of crushes, my crush on the store name Skanks-R-Us led me back there following a fashcon notice, where we met Poe Tatum, the skank herself! If you're looking for somebody to swoon over, you need to go there and behold her in all her glorious skankiness, you won't be disappointed (unless you really expected her to be a skank, then you're shite out of luck, but yeah…). Either way, I found some more trinkets of lovely delight there, two of which I'm about to share your way. First, the steampunky “Biker Goggles”…great detailing, with a futuristic bad arse flair, and scripted to boot! Next on the Skank's list is my Grungy Boots, perfect for sliding into home plate feet first…it takes a special kind of catcher to brave the steel toe caps! All of my shiny things came from Yabusaka today…do I really need to break it down for you? I mean, look at those pictures…wicked details, unique in a good way, and the dragon has a glowing stone in its mouth! All those reasons and more are why Yabusaka is like crack to me.

Hooray September!! Although it means the end of another summer, for me personally, September means my community service is over and I can hang up the orange coveralls, trash picker and get back to blogging! So, I took a fashion dart and randomly threw it at my burgeoning inventory, I wasn’t surprised when I hit a Bare Rose outfit (*cough* homeawayfromhome*cough*)….in this case, their new Grim Boy Outfit. I really love the fact that their prims are getting better and better as time progresses, considering they already had me at “hello” …this outfit is definitely proof positive.

The outfit comes in three colors (blue, grey, and brown), the jacket, shirt and skirt basics have a dozen various prim attachments to play with (and I thought 3 balls was fun!). A standout to me would be the leg straps, just because I've not really seen anything like them before…even though they would make running from my parole officer a total shite endeavor. The belt and bag are brilliantly detailed, and the feathers look real enough to tickle someone's arse with (looks for any takers…)..plus, it has skulls on it!! Yeah, I'm easy, didn’t we all know?

Of course, I discovered this cool hawk all on my own, do you even know who I am?? .......Or maybe it was Winter, all that trash picking in the hot sun has withered my memory down to nada - either way, the Double Duster is black and wild and definitely right up my alley. My skin is one of the Adam skins from Fallen Gods…seriously, I was around two years old when he was relevant, but in retrospect, I decided Adam Ant was one of the coolest guys to wear a pirate outfit and sing about fetish and sex - so when I saw this skin inspired by him, I was on it like an ant to sugar. While it won't be displacing my FNKY anytime soon, I love the face makeup and the gothy pale hues…and with that, I return to the world that is blog, farmer tan and all!!

And now for something completely different, my SL avatard of the week award! Samurai Smackdown!!!

Nope, it's not the WWE’s latest pay-per-view extravaganza, it’s the hottest off the press Express Zenovka's blogging brain child - two bloggers, one cup…erm, no, that’s not right, one cage, two bloggers enter, only one blogger emerges…hmmm, not quite right either…I think I'll let him do the splaining. Basically the gist of the matter is I had to build an anime samurai warrior on a *gulp*…limited budget!!...and yes, it was as painful as it sounds. I mean, to get me all excited about shopping for samurai coolness and then limit me to 3,000 linden is both cruel and unusual punishment…it’s the kind of depraved idea that could only be born in a mind as dark, perverse, and discombobulated as Mr. Express Zenovka - but being the good sport that I am, I bravely pressed on, lindens in hand.

I was going to just mimic the samurai outfit that I blogged a few months back cus it was cheap as borsht but Dove said I wasn’t allowed to jump on the bed anymore during my photo shoots. Bloodied but unbeaten, I decided to keep Aoharu's Samurai hair and start anew. As much as I like the hair, when I saw this Samurai hat at Hanzo Blades Armory, I knew it was a winner…bad arse and lending a definite air of mystery to my future warrior, it was my first purchase…coincidentally, we ran into Express there as well…stalk much buddy??

The bulk of my outfit is sort of a mix and match, but I'd venture to say that you could buy either Discord's Kou-Ga outfit or Traum's Cyberpunk Ninja outfit as stand alones and you'd be pleased as punch. The color scripted boots are from the Kou-Ga set, with a heap of different color options and some great detailing, in my never humble opinion. Realizing that all future samurais know how to rawk cyber wings, the Cyberpunk outfit had just the right set to help me release my inner ronin. Now, while it is true that a samurai could kill you with just a fierce sneer and a rose petal, they also realize that chicks dig guys with skills and swordplay is way up high on the list…which leads us to my Devil Crow Swords from Discord. I'm not sure I've ever seen a Devil Crow, but holy hell, if they look anything like these swords, I don’t want them picking around in my garbage bags at the curb anytime soon…and just incase I don’t want to get blood on my samurai threads, my Shuriken belt is chock full of throwing star and knife goodness!!

So yeah, that was my Samurai 3,000 linden adventure in a nutshell. I even listed the prices to prove I didn’t cheat. Of course, that doesn’t mean I'm not going to go back to some of those stores and break the damned bank…and while I'm doing that, you should break your damned finger voting for me in this contest…and not because Express doesn’t wash his hands after he pees or because he has a hairy arse, not even because my outfit looked better than his, no, mostly I want you to vote for me because every vote for me is a vote for Free Tibet!!....unless you're happy with the situation there, in that case a vote for me will be a vote for things to remain unchanged….oh, that and the fact that every vote for Express = a dead kitten somewhere in the world…do you really want that on your conscience? Help me, help you!!....Lawless.

Here's some things you probably didn’t know about Pie. First off, Pie is a person, not a baked good and her real name is Pill Randt (don’t call her Pie to her face or she might call you something back…ie: “braless”). Secondly, she collects B&E’s like Dove collects socks (she puts the “mature” in mature sim). Thirdly, and bestly, she started building stuffs!! Case in point, my brand new Pillbugg Bunny Hat. I like it heaps, in fact, I liked it enough to spend twenty minutes making my hair peek out underneath it…yup, that’s true love!! It comes in five different colors, including pink - I’d show you, but I didn’t want to steal Winter's thunder.

Although I was quite content to walk around all day naked as a bunny, Dove said she can't concentrate on her procrastination when I'm all nude, so she made me go shopping!! Armed with my essential checklist, I hopped into Miau Haus and checked out the jeans there. Are they black? check! Are they festooned with skulls? check! Are they black? check! Nicely faded, and kind of wrinkly…I'm going to say not off the bedroom floor wrinkled, more like under the damp towel in the laundry hamper wrinkled - not that I'd wear something out of my laundry hamper. The leather jacket isn’t the most detailed thing you’ve ever worn, but come on, the shop's name is AyYaiYai!! Total winner, it's going onto my cool name's list right under Skanks-R-Us. The jacket is pretty simple, but it does come with some prim cuffs, plus everytime you wear it you can say AyYaiYai in your worst Mexican accent (the editor and staff would like to apologize to anyone offended by anything Lawless Mcbride says but c'mon, do you even know who he is?).

So if we were all in high school right now, Kari’s new high top chucks would be the ones that you'd be pestering your folks for each and every day after school…c'mon please please please?? All the other cool SL kids are wearing them!! I'm pretty much still in love with my Pornstars, if only for all the options you get from the scripts, but these shoes are nicely worn in, kind of scuffed and dirtied up a bit, and they do have some cool pictures…how could mum and dad say no? Lastly, I threw on another Sey trinket, this time the Kabbalah necklace…not only does it look great, but it protects you from the dreaded evil eye, one of the most destructive forces in the universe!! I would know, Dove gives me one everytime I push her off the treehouse deck when she’s afking. So yeah, two in a row, look at me go!! Anyway, if you need me, I'm going to be searching under the wet towel in my hamper for something to wear tomorrow…remember everyone, dress for success!!

And by popular demand, I mean Berry said she missed me, so how could I stay away? These twelve hour work days really knocked the wind out of my blogging sails but I'm really tired of wearing the same outfit for days on end... so fatigue be damned!! I'll tell you what though, if you're going to be stuck in the same outfit in SL, you could do much worse - although I'm going to have the worst case of hat hair, ever!! You’ve probably seen the new Argrace baseball cap before, but you seriously need to stop seeing it and start owning it - not only does this hat come with hair, but it's also the sweetest, curliest, mess. Goodbye half hour of modding my hair to fit underneath while I make up curse words that would make BoRee blush. As a bonus, the hat comes with scripted sizing and color changes…..and it looks good, most important when you’re out searching for your sugar momma!!

Next up is the Men's Used Shirt from Yamy.... I'm drawn to wrinkly, lived-in, comfortable looking clothes - this shirt looks like one of my bedroom floor “pickup and sniff the pit” winners that I managed to squeeze one more day of lounging about in. Decently drawn, nice shading, a nice white shirt that’s made to work with some faded denims. Which brings us to Miu’s ZXM jeans…these jeans are all about the flares…kind of faded with heavy stitching, they’re the jeans that make you shout “Eureka!!” when you find them in the last rack in the thrift store. Ok, if you really shout Eureka out loud in thrift stores, you prolly need to take those meds you think you don’t need anymore…but anyways…

Kalnins Optics makes some really cool, different looking sunglasses. I had seen them blogged before but it wasn’t until Domch tried to blind me with some neon yellow shop walls that I realized how badly I needed a pair. Scripted with a shite load of options that I'm loathe to list here, they are funky enough to let you get your inner diva or rawkstar on (whichever your preference). Helping remove the tarnish that “Walk like an Egyptian” put on the word “bangle”, Sey made this very sweet Sun Leather bangle. A picture being worth an infinite number of the words that dribble forth from my gob, I will say no more and let you stare admiringly at it whilst you fill in your own adjectives, punctuated by the occasional “oooh” and "aaaah." That being said, I'm off to change and throw these clothes in the laundry basket where they belong…(or the floor until the next sniff and wear)…

There's two ways to end up with a skin like this. Number one, head down to the beach early on Canada Day with a gallon or two of sangria, some tanning butter and your banana hammock and waste away the day on a beach towel - George Hamilton eat yer heart out!! Or you can jump off the melanoma highway and grab MiaSnow's Rodaidh Drow Skin. Since I spent most of my fechin holiday stuck on a bridge for six hours whilst the cops talked a jumper down from her perch, Mia's option was the one I took as well…but I'm not complaining…I'm no Drow expert, but I like her skins - her Drow's offer subtle changes in the face shadows and even blue war paint!!

It seemed so natural to get badarse once I slipped into this skin and I knew just the hair to start with: Thea Tamuras Punk Vein Hair. I only discovered this hair because I saw the word “punk” in the fashcon notice, kudos to her for so deftly taking advantage of my three second attention span. Kind of a rapunzel from the wrong side of town look, I'm not sure I'll be rocking this hair with a lot of outfits, but it definitely fit the bill here. I dusted off my Aitui nipple rings to celebrate the holiday, after a little adjusting they are ready to roll, in sl anyways - as a side note, although I've pierced several bits and bobs of my RL body, hell will freeze over before I ever mess with my nipples, or chest clits as I so affectionately have come to call them!!

Several months ago, I came across a dude wearing a madly detailed kilt, which of course led me to inspect my way to the store myself. While the outfit was incredible and a total prim fest, I was feeling cheap (a throwback to my ancestors?), so I saved a landmark and decided to come back another day. Another day almost never happened, because finding that LM two months later was akin to Scrooge McDuck finding a particular penny in his swollen money vault - like a bloodhound on a trail, I persisted though, and after TPing into 200 random stores or so, I found my Roman Legionnaire Heavy Armor Outfit, all 442 prims of it! But what prims they are - from the studded kilt, to the gauntlets and boots, this is one of the best historical outfits I almost never bought!!

On that note, today is the 4th of July, so I best get onto the internerd and start scouting out the most likely bridge to be caught up in a so-called “police incident" so I can be on deck bright and early. Why mess with tradition?

Although I have great intentions of regularly visiting stores that I like, to see what new picking they may have laid out for me, at the end of the day, they stay intentions. Which means one day I went to a very empty Aoharu and bought a samurai hair... and a couple of months or so later, I went and the fecher was filled with clothes for boys and girls!! With so much to choose from, I decided to shake things up and buy a black outfit and see if I could make it work for me…ok, I'm a creature of habit, but hey, with no lint, or dust, or dog hair to mess with your black, it's just such a win!!

Let's start with the short cotton jacket, shall we? It comes as a jacket layer base with prim cuffs, collar, and a bottom that didn’t take too much wrangling to line up. Now, if you're going to make black clothes, don’t make them so soul-sucking black that you lose all the details - Aoharu understands this and uses some real nice shading to bring the jacket to life. Speaking of shading, the best part of this jacket?? The giant happy face on the back!! It makes me happy to know that where ever I wear this jacket, I'm not only spreading a wide swath of my particular brand of bullshite, but good will and cheer for my fellow grid walkers!! (wipes a sentimental tear from his eye) By the way, if you don’t see the happy face, you suck….keep staring at it until you do, or delete your account and go play Hello Kitty island adventure.

Ever jealous that Nic has way better capris than me, I jumped on these Clopped (sic) pants faster than Dove's gramma can shout “whats the number to 911!?!” I like the uneven cuffs and their simple casual look…and the chance to show off my tanned ankles - unlike my ghostlike RL ones (grumbles about Juneuary in Vancouver). UBU’s Pornstar slip-ons mean never having to tie your shoes all summer, which is a must when you’re half arsed…and wearing sneakers without socks….what could go wrong - other than having the most skanky smelling shoes this side of the Rockies come September! My hair was a group gift from Find Ash, which means it was free…unlike RL, free things on the grid don’t generally equate with crap…case in point. Lastly, I've been wearing a lot of summery surf jewelry of late…much of it from M.R.M - Masaru Raymaker is to tiny prim work what Dove is to poo…a master - plus I like him so I'm gonna pimp him again. And speaking of pimp, I'm off to the fashcon café to get paid …some of those girls have been holding out on me and buying shoes at Storm Schmooz with my money dammit!!

Being an equal opportunist and already having taken a stab at the neko thing, I realized I needed to flex my canine genes - and if you're going to travel the path of the dog, don't mess around, you damned well better go with good old canine lupus: the big bad wolf!! First stop, Atomic Kitty, to get geared up with wolf ears and tail to match my genuinely wolfish grin. Matching my tail in pure shagaliciousness is my Kobra Kai Hair from Gritty Kitty, the envy of sheepdogs all around the world (little red won't be identifying you by your great big eyes if she can't see them). Be warned, wearing the Kobra Kai hair for too long may result in you running around the grid randomly shouting out “no mercy!!” and “sweep the leg!!”…not that there's anything wrong with that.

WMD, not just about jeans anymore…proof positive lays in this comfy looking Zipped Red Sweater. I love the muted red and it looks good enough to have jumped out of my closet…or more correctly, out of the pile of clothes in the general vicinity of my closet. What do big bad wolves do whilst they're waiting for lil red to show up at granny's house? The crosswords of course, fech suduko!! Bringing the fun to a pair of legs near you are Kalico Kreations' Crossword Jeans - kind of grungy and very unique in a “score” kind of way (just remember not to do the answers in permanent marker). If you survive the woodsman's axe like I did (John Wayne Bobbit assures me it will be ok), you can pop in to Mezzo and treat yourself with a trinket, I like mine heaps!! By the by, Wolf Like Me by TV On The Radio is a song that you must hear by a band you must see. If you need me, I'll be at the treehouse practicing my wolf whistles while boy-Dove traipses around showing off hir moobs!!

I was maybe 18, walking downtown around 1am, wearing my favorite vans, black 501 button flys, and a skull sk8te hoodie pulled down over my shaved head, when I noticed the carload of girls watching me as I crossed in front of their idling car. Before I had a chance to gloat and add fuel to my ego's fire, I watched the girls in the passenger seat both reach up and lock the car doors…at that moment, I felt what it must be like to be Sith. Yes, the poor Sith, forever being judged because of their sinister looking hooded cloaks …and maybe the way they only care about themselves…and their willingness to use brutality to get the power they lust…annnd using their Sith sorceries to inflict misery, suffering and corruption on the masses in general…in other words, just like you and me!!

Disembodied Hand is a person that understands that Sith just want to have fun, and he proves it at Defectiva, his new store. Besides having a name that is worthy of being added to my all-time cool names list (right below Gutterblood Spoonhammer), he's got an eye for detail that should make you give him your lindens. His remake Sith Hoodie is a winner, from the skull and crossbones stormtrooper logo on the back, to a hood deep and dark enough to hide my very impressive Sith Lord Hair. Although Disembodied sells the hair separately at his store (with a few others worth taking a poke at), the Hoodie comes with or without the hair.…choose with the hair, don’t make me break out my crazy arse Sith hand lightning shite on you!!

The Return of the Bounty belt sports some real great detail, but in my opinion, it’s the texturing that takes the cake. I don’t have a lot of brown belts in-world, especially distressed looking ones because most of the time they are baby poo brown and look like crap (is that redundant?). This belt is neither, mostly because the texturing is so brilliant, it looks like a worn out belt that I could have hanging in my rl closet…erm, except for the rather large boba fett buckle (heh, winter)in front (mine has the punisher logo).

Sinistyle is definitely in touch with their dark side, which is why I covered up my full body Sith tattoos with some new leather, the Death Dealer leather pants!! I love the heavy seam work and the worn faded leather in all the right places. Blasphemy boots finish the look, with a few wrist and face spikes thrown in for good measure and voila...Le Sith!! Anyway, I'm going to go strut my stuff back on the mean streets of Korriban and see if I can get some girls to lock the doors of their land speeder.

After spending several hours carefully calculating on my calculator, my grandfather's antique abacus, the Aztec sun calendar, and more than a few shakes of my all-knowing magic 8-ball, I’ve come to the shocking conclusion that I buy more outfits than I blog. In fact I buy more outfits than I wear….prolly even more than I unpack!! I know, I know, I'm even more surprised than you are!! In an effort to make alms for my clothes hoarding sins, I decided to share a veritable shite load of suits today - as a bonus, I decided to use Tempura Island as my backdrop so I could add halfarsed tour guide to my resume!! And on that note….

The modern black suit by Hasendow is my all time favorite black suit…it's awesomely detailed and comes with a butt load of options, with prim cuffs to boot. It’s the kind of black suit that could put the “fun” back in funeral. Virtual tourists take note, there are some real pretty trees at Tempura Island!! They say on certain days when the light is just right you can see an almost ghostly Wrath Paine wandering through the forests there on his endless search for the perfect tree. If you liked the pretty yellow trees, check out the crystals behind me while I wore the Business Suit in Olive from Simone - this suit is simple, with only three layers, but it's well drawn and I loved the gold tie…it lets you be all business without the no-fun aftertaste!!

Next on our tour de farce is Random’s Big Shot Suit in Grey, a nice single breasted, light, two layer suit, with a pile of different colored shirts and ties to spice it up. Behind me, in Tempura Island, is this cool fish tank thing or port hole or….ok, I totally forget what it was, but hey, it's not like I got paid, so there! This tweed suit from 1-800 Betties is another favorite….brill texturing and a great double breasted look with a handful of prims added in for good measure…the obvious choice for skulking around the island's marshy parts.

Bazaar's Antoine Suit is technically not a suit…heh…my ten second attention span being what it was, I think I forgot I was sampling them and got enamored by the big pink tie!! I do like their take on the classic look though, with the low riser pants and tailored vest. Back there are more trees, but not just any trees, these trees are….hmmm, ok, they're just more trees. The gold Italia Suit from Armidi was so pimp on that store hanger, I had to have it - just your basic layers, but it's gold!! If this blog had a soundtrack, you'd so be hearing gold member right about now. Also, this suit gave me a chance to show you just how elite my photography skills are…I mean, who else would have thought to put on a gold suit and then go find golden flowers to stand in front of?? I think if I had to rename the Affair suit from Bazaar, I'd call it 'buttons gone wild suit'…I like the cut of the suit, and they added some prim cuffs and all, but the hell if there isn’t a button in the middle of the tie and every second button is bigger than the next?? Or maybe it’s the drugs talking, you be the judge. I went back to the island's crystal mines for the pics because it's actually one of the biggest bling mines in-world - day and night, workers mine these babies and break down their precious bling gems to tiny slivers, which then get distributed in pimp and hooker boots, belts and paraphenalia across the grid!! Worth the price of admission, no? Last suit and thank goodness, this fech is long and I'm running out of steam (ie – getting sober)…not too many options on this suit, but the Capri suit from Sartoria Italiana just shouts spring to me…and the cuffs??...erm, I forgot to take them off from the last suit (takes a bow). To the back is the pretty, aqua blue, shiny tree that signals the end of the tour. Please unload from the right and don’t forget your cameras and other valuables. Spring has sprung...

It's true, the shite west coast weather aside, all the evidence is in and spring really must be upon us - the freaking torrential rain showers, the pollen-infested air, horny cats squealing throughout the night, and of course, mother birds puking on their newly hatched nestlings!! Obviously uplifted and very much enchanted by all this springtime wonder, I decided I needed clothes befitting the season.

And so, I started with this eye-catching, uber-verdant shirt from H&V, aptly named Birdpuke - bright bright green, nicely shaded with a simple collar and cuffs, and the graphic…well it speaks for itself. Springtime is when you can break out those wicked-comfy jeans that you wear sparingly because they are so worn they are on the edge of becoming ex-jeans. In this case, KR’s Skate Pants...these are great looking jeans, sporting some decent detail, faded and baggy, and one season away from the dustbin - as a bonus, they come with a swiss army style multi tool, for that instant boy and his toys appeal.

Jumping the spring puddles has never been as fun as it is now that I have my newest pair of kicks, this time the Chux sneakers from SVRLY Ltd. Plastered with some really cool graphics, the shoes are definitely unique and come scripted and easy to size. I think you need them, I really do. So as to not miss any of mother nature's springtime wonders (ie: mother birds puking into their baby's wide open maws), I opted for a swept back hair, specifically the new Raw hair from Laqroki. I could tell you how the messy collar length hair is brill and stuff, but seriously, if it were shite, I wouldn’t be wearing it, so yeah. Lastly, the shark tooth necklace is a freebie from Ubercrummy & Kitsch (Express, eat your heart out).

Anyways, I need to go dry out my rain gear and grab some old apples to throw at the feline gigolos that like to congregate below my window each and every work night. Counting the days til summer, this is Lawless and I'm out!!

Just talking about the Wither!!

Lets see if I remember how to do this - put on random clothes, check - take amateurish pictures, check - spout some random shite about the aforementioned clothes and then post! Ahh, the missing ingredient…fortunately, I'm full of shite, both random and otherwise.

This outfit started out being about Redgrave's cashmere sweater - ok, take notes, if you're a dude, you need nice, simple, cashmere sweaters in your RL wardrobe, especially in the spring. They look great, they're easy to match to a bunch of different looks and... they look great, in case you missed that the first time around. In this case, Redgrave's version is nicely shaded with slight wrinkles and a subtle arm-stripe adding some life to the grey. The pants? Another day, another pair of Armidi chinos, this time in grey. These are pants I could shamelessly wear every day of the week…erm, except when I was washing them - write that one down too guys....wash clothes occasionally, or no matter how good they look the smell will overwhelm your admirers!!

Although my outfit started out being about the sweater, because it was pretty simple, I decided I needed some accessories to my fashion crime…but not just any, I needed new ones! That's where Wither comes in, supplying a watch, belt and bandana necklace to the mix. I'm not sure I've ever owned anything close to this Rag Belt in RL, but I just loved it at first sight. First off, I love the surplus chic of the military style belt - the rag attachment is different, but I really liked the colors and how they played off my grey - and with my spring allergies, it's like having a week's worth of snot rags at any given time…no more snot rocketing for me!!

I've had to add a new hat foyer into my inventory warehouse to store all the hats I've been buying of late (Nic, you are solely to blame for this, I hope you're happy!!) The Unknown Boutique provided me with this nice looking fedora that comes in several colors…I shook things up and bought the black one!! A while ago, Urban Bomb Unit gave away checkered slip-on sneakers to their group, waited until the hook was set and then promptly reeled me in to their store to buy their new scripted slip-ons featuring a bazillion scripted color options amongst other customizable features - you need these shoes too!! The pics don’t show them much but would I lie to you?? Ok, I totally would lie but not about shoes, they're way too important to even joke about.

So yeah, there's your random bull shite, frame it or line your birdcage with it, it's all good. I'm going to go eat my leftover birthday cake and try all my new bikinis on again - you love me, you really love me!!

Where the wild things are...

I was going to put up a “gone fishin” post, I had it all elaborately planned in my head, it involved me fishing on our dock and surrounded by all the cool fish I caught…. but then I remembered who I was and just buggered off instead. I’ve been sitting on these “Drow” pictures for a few weeks and I figured now was a perfect time because they so accurately reflect camping with Lawless 101.

First off, Fallen Gods Dust Skin is the official name…now some will tell you that a “Drow” is a mythical elf-like creature in Scottish folklore which lived in caves and forged magical metal work - but I'm here to tell you that in RL, Drow is an acronym for “didn’t rinse or wash”…five days of that whilst camping will give you a skin tone very reminiscent of your average mythical cave dweller. Not only did I change my skin for the first time ever (however temporarily), but I chose one with facial hair to boot!! This coincides with the fact that it's absolutely taboo to shave while camping…how else can you make fun of your baby-faced buddies at the end of the trip whilst you scratch at your mangy growth??

To truly leave the city behind, you need proper roughing it duds…I choose the Jungle King outfit by Electro Kitty for so many reasons. First, the fewer clothes you wear, the less you have to wash…which reminds me, that bag of clothes in the back of my truck is starting to smell. It's also a fearsome looking thing, what with all the sharp tusks and claws jutting out to and fro…this is important because if you look fierce enough, you might be able to discourage your peers from drinking your beer (annual event), dropping your tent down in the middle of the night (annual event), or my personal favorite…barfing in your tent (fortunately not an annual event, but occurring more than I'd like to admit to). Oh, and incidentally, the details on this outfit are fechin incredible…it's enough to make me want to go camping more often.

To be fair, I shaved my head before I went camping, but only because no matter how long I grew it, it would never look as bad arse as AVZ makes hair. I mixed two different styles and I really wish I had noted the name of the girl I copied it from, I'd totally give her props - or let her come over and clean my cooler for me, at the very least!! Anyways, next year you’re all invited! And incidentally, no fish were harmed in the making of this fishing trip memoir…mostly because amidst all that drinking and whisker growing and fiercing and whatnot I forgot to go out and fish...who knew?? In an effort to make up for that discrepancy, I'm off to see if I can dip my pole in Dove…don’t wait up!!

P.S.…Winter, I really wanted to call this “Electric Drow Apocalyptic Nightmare Sensation”, as you so cleverly coined it…but I didn’t want it to go to your head, now that you're a beefcake and all.

Ah, the good old glory days of school - sucking up to my teachers, the straight A’s, the long hours studying in the library, sitting with the nerds in the cafeteria, looking hot in my plaid skirt and white blouse….oh wait, that was my sister. My school years were a little more inglorious, prolly best summed up with the oft repeated “…if lawless would only apply himself..”…hard to believe, I know…heh…if only I could turn back time.

Oh whatever, if I could turn back time, I'd most likely do it all the same - except, I'd return in style. No ripped up levis and concert tees this time. I'd be styling in a sweet arse school uniform, maybe even something like my new School Uniform 01 from Arai!! First off, I love the untucked shirt and loose tie putting the 'I' in uniform…the outfit is nicely textured and the shading is really great, how great you ask? So great that when I excitedly put this outfit on while standing in Arai, I forgot to take off the tie and shirt I was previously going to blog…don’t believe me?? It's peeking out of the open collar in these and the other 200 pictures I took…good thing I caught it in time...heh…

In order to make sure I don’t accidentally learn anything at school, I grabbed the finely detailed Ume headphones at Boon so I can daydream at the back of the class and listen to the Fratellis in style. They can make me wear a uniform, but the hair is all mine to let run wild…Discord's Garou hair is unkempt, wild, long and slightly reminiscent of a hippy chick's armpits, but in a far grander scale. Finishing my 'back to school daze' post is my Shoulder Bag from Kalico Kreations - full of Incredible Hulk comic books and playboy centerfolds of course (the latter being enough to get a young Lawless suspended for a day in grade 1, who knew?) Ok, anyways, it's time for me to go flirt with Dove, my favorite nerd girl in the library.…who knows, maybe I will let her carry my books home for me!!

There I was, minding my own business, camming into random people's treehouses and admiring and inspecting their furniture (and by that, I mean taking pictures of their nasty bits) when achariya told me I could get free neko ears at the Nex-Core show and join the meow revolution…how could I say no?? I'd love to show them to you, the only problem is that as soon as I broke my neko cherry, I decided I needed more not-so-free ones of various spots and stripes, eventually culminating in these black ones from Acid that wiggle and move about and are almost as cute as Dove's new kittens.

Building an outfit from the ears down was my next task and I embraced it eagerly. Having just spent a shite load of lindens at Discord (see future blog), I rooted around in the clutter that calls itself an inventory and came up with a winner. The Garou hair is mega shaggy, tousled long hair and just what any self respecting cat about town would wear…and it's dirt cheap, so now you have no excuse. Almost furry in its own rights, the Charlatan coat from Civvies is something I’ve been meaning to wear for a while now. Things I love about this jacket are as follows; the fur lining, the oversized buckled arm cuffs and its long sleek cut…in black of course. The jacket also comes with a long coat bottom if you’re in the mood for a trench. Another day, another pair of WMD jeans, this time the Steel Darks…be warned, don’t wear these jeans if you’re uncomfortable with people telling you “those jeans are great’…stick to those ugly-arse, legs-painted-blue, things you’ve got now and you’ll be ok.

Although it sounds like they should be making recreational vehicles, I'm really glad NanaCraft makes clothes and stuff. Even though everyone and their cousin seems to have made a pair of engineer boots, I'm really impressed with the ones they made. First off, they just have a great shape to them, and if you add in the thick chunky sole and nicely detailed buckles, you end up with Lawless buying all of the available colors!

Making a brilliantly detailed belt can often leave the creators very little time to formulate a name for it…case in point, Belt02 by NanaCraft - personally, they can call their belts whatever they please if they make them all look like this one. Equipped with a wicked looking skull buckle, the coolest looking man purse I’ve ever worn and of course, a key ring for all of the skeleton keys that seem to accumulate in your modern day neko’s pockets, you’re set to go on the prowl….rowr!! Speaking of prowling, you’re on your own, I'm off to go and play another round of hide the catnip with Dove!!

The Cover Up...

Usually when I think of coveralls, I think of a nametag with the name “Hank” or “Chester” and a decent collection of oil/grease spots…or maybe your stereotypical machete swinging, horror film mass murderer, avoiding the telltale blood and viscera stains on his good clothes - but coveralls as a fashion statement?? Yes, it's true, coverall couture is here and not since those flickr pics of Winter on his hands and knees wearing a dog collar have I been so excited about something!!

First step to getting on this new fashion wave is heading your arse down to 19 Sosaku-Kobo where you’ll find good and bad news. The good news here is the coveralls are easy to find, the shop has very few items at the moment - the bad news is that you’ll wish they had more after you try a few things on (sort of like me and those pictures of Winter). The coveralls come in several great colors separately or in a fat pack…cautiously, I bought the black ones and ended up with the fat pack not long after…cus you know, I hardly have anything to wear in SL. They come in both mens and ladies sizes, with plain or logo back uppers. They're baggy without looking sloppy, and I really love the rolled down to the waist sculpty option…kind of a mix between hipster and hip hop. They also feature prim sleeves, bottoms, collar and great texturing…they’re the last thing you’ll want to wear when it's time to change the oil …or when you’re collared and walking about on your hands and knees like Snoopy.

After impressing me with the detail on the coveralls, 19’s PaintO Jie blew me away with the sculpties on his O-Swiss Kicks…these shoes are a builders showcase, this is how sculpties are supposed to work!! Crazy details, from the pebbled rubber of the upper sole to the wrinkled creases where the shoe bends at your toes, they actually made me take off my pornstars for a few days in a row ( I think Dove burned them). With my top rolled down, I decided it was time to show off my Mu Mei Do tattoo from Muism…not for the faint of wallet, this tattoo translates to approximately 58 hours of straight camping (definitely a recipe for slemorrhoids) - after you get over the price though, you can revel in the awesome detail and almost negligible seams.

Having broken the bank on the rest of my outfit, I was happy to find a freebie hat that you can not only wear with your hair but it looks good too!! Yabusaka as usual has another fine piece of jewelry, the Silver Alphabet Changer Pendant. Mine says “Poo” fittingly, first off because it's one of Dove's favorite words and secondly, with five million birds flying around in the background, it’s an inevitability of this photo shoot. So now little hipsters and hipstettes, it's time for you to join the coverall revolution…in the meantime, I'm going to go search some Gorean sims and see if I can't find a nice present for a former Dark Lord of the Vampires I once knew.

Iron Man!! Ok, not really…Tony Starks is Iron Man, and we’re nothing alike…he’s an athletic playboy, incredibly wealthy, genius inventor with an addiction to the bottle. Oh well, one out of six ain't bad. I may not be Iron Man, but I am a geek male…we’re talking thousands of comic books stored out of direct sunlight in cool conditions with cardboard backing in plastic bags kind of geek - and the midnight preview showing of any comic book character who manages to hit the big screen kind of geek too!! Which of course has its lows…*cough* Elektra* cough* and its highs…hopefully, Iron Man, sometime tomorrow evening?? Either way, when Dove and I wandered into the Boxed Heroes store, it was a given I was going to get suited up to play.

The store has a bunch of film and comic heroes and villains to choose from. As tempted as I was by Ghostbusters Stay Puft Marshmallow man, my heart already belonged to this Iron Man suit - fearsome looking, yet smooth, supple, sleek and full of gadgets, it was screaming out to both my inner and outer geek!! For 400L you get three different versions of the suit, the classic red/gold, black/red and my favorite, the black/gold combinations, all equipped with an Iron Man AO. It comes with damage dealing repulsors in the hands and of course, a circular chestbeam with an emergency light beam spotlight!! Although the armored suit comes with a built in flight assistant, be warned that if you’ve been around me in voice when I'm wearing it, the sounds you hear do not come with the suit!! I know it may be hard to believe, but those amazing sonic booms and roars and thunders you heard were coming from your's truly. After I unboxed my new toy at home, was I disappointed?? Well, if a picture is worth a thousand words, here's 80,000 words worth of praise….I'll meet you in the sky!!

PS, just to confirm it, that disturbance you felt in the force at approximately 10 am SLT was the after effects of my sister adding another unit to the Lawless collective. That’s one step closer to world dominance, if you're keeping track at home (insert evil laugh here)!!

Hi, I'm Lawless and I have a color bias…I know it's not right, but sometimes I make fun of brown. Trying to impress my friends, I call it bland and uninspired or boring…once I even said it’s the color of librarians everywhere. Hi Clover!! Maybe it springs from my self hate towards my shite brown eyes, I don’t know, but I'm sure glad that not everyone feels that way…otherwise this post would not have happened, and how tragic would that be??

Ducknipple understands brown and how wonderful it really can be. Case in point, my new Bob Hoodie...starting off with a very nice brown and yellow argyle pattern, Beanster Potato punked it up with a prim hoodie and then grimed it down just enough to keep the yellow from being hideous. Nice texturing combined with a deep rich brown color was enough to make me throw my black shirt back into my inventory and give it a go. As much as I wanted to give brown a fair shake, I knew it was going to take something special to shake me out of my jet black jeans…in this case, something special was Cubic Effect's new brown cotton pants. The pants manage some nice wrinkles without looking sloppy, and I really love the prim bottoms, especially the way they hang down over the back of my shoes.

Speaking of shoes (it’s a segue, take notes), Urban Bomb Unit did it again, this time with their Pornstar Slipons - same great name, same great scripted options, but, with no laces to waste your time tying…or trampling on all day. If you're of my ilk…they also came with a sweet checked pattern that worked brilliantly with my argyle - I think im getting the hang of this whole wearing brown thing, go me!! Ducknipple has great clothes and some really goofy, fun items too - the Stoned Monkeh Necklace would fall under the latter, with its banana, monkeh smoking a fat one, and lego logo. Heh, say that ten times fast…lego logo lego logo lego logo…it's even a bish to type. Now I know it's not brown, but this was a big step for me…Sig Oldrich made a nice black hat that you can actually wear with your hair and then offered if for free…what would you have done??

Real Samurais Wear Pink!!

Screw that wannabe samurai Tom Cruise (unless you like four foot tall guys…not that there’s anything wrong with that). This is my three easy steps to getting your feudal warrior on. I think we went out shopping for socks for Dove because it's not always about me (take notes guys) - but then I saw the coolest looking kimono ever…at which point it became about me again!! It's the thought that counts, right?

So yeah, step 1…procure for yourself a kimono, preferably silk for those long hot days chopping off random limbs and flirting with geishas. In my case, I picked the Camellia Lico Kimono from the Japanese Goods Shop - I love the way this robe looks, with its flowing arms and flared cuffs with great texturing. It looks comfortable and sleek…and the colors combined with the floral patterns were love at first sight!! And just in case you were thinking about cracking on the pink, that is a sword you see tucked in my obi…that’s a 'belt' for the uninitiated.

Step 2, put your junk in that box…erm, no wait, that’s a different outfit - get yourself some samurai lettuce!! Aoharu made that easier than painting by numbers when they created a hair called the Japanese Samurai Hair!! Kind of messy, long and black, with the traditional top knot keeping things under control.

Step 3, put your traditional Samurai footwear, the Chuck All-stars, on and go and strike some arse kicking poses!! For me, the easiest way to make this happen was to wait until Dove was nose deep in Poser, then run into the bedroom and jump up and down on the bed throwing kicks at imaginary ninjas and pirates and the like!! Now if you need me, I have to go to The Loft and buy some replacement furniture before she's done…hell hath no fury like a country girl whose bed you just broke.

It started out so innocently, there was Shane with his arse undulating wildly in the general direction of my manly bits - ok, not innocent in a Cinderella way, but compared to a Neva orgy room packed with 40 dudes and a 500 prim donkey, it's still innocent. Anyways, although completely mesmerized by his wagging arse, the part of my brain that loves to spend lindens managed to notice his belt!! A quick click/inspect and I realized I needed to go back to Monogrind before the environmental settings hit “sunset.”

Finding the Safelock Spiked Belt was easy.…leaving without buying a half-dozen other items was apparently nigh impossible. So, what started as a quick trip to buy a belt ends in me dressed up as the M.V.P. from the Blood Bowl 2049!! The progression, while almost impossible to describe in print, made perfect sense in my head…see what tequila on your Corn Flakes will do for you? It was hard not to notice that all of the goodies I grabbed at Monogrind were bedecked with metal in one fashion or another…and metal made me think of iron, and iron to the grid-iron, and the rest was history - but seriously, although I will be 69 in 2049, you want me on your team if I'm styling like this.

Where to start is obvious, Monogrind's Football Shoulder Pads are bulky, kind of beat up and generally bad arse. The Infinity Wings from Steam Powered Industries help me avoid those big hits…kind of rusted up with feathers that look like knife blades - you know you don’t want any of that. In lieu of a mouthpiece, Black Catter kindly provided me with their Panda Pacifier…the pacifier is like insult to injury, because you know you don’t want to go home and tell anyone some guy with a pacifier left the boot print you’re sporting on your chest. You’re going to make up some story about eight gang members and a crowbar. Speaking of boots, the Consumed Rusted Boots from Monogrind were definitely made for walking over things…or people…black chunky soles, with metal tabs running up the front and sides of the calf high boots. My football pants are made up of my Bitchbeater Baggy Shorts from Sn@tch and Kyoot’s Ringmaster Tights (thank you 100 linden sale!).

Mad Hair Day

Ok, I know, I know, if you’re like me, your groups are totally maxed out - but seriously, you need to drop one of those lame arses that hasn’t updated in months and join AVZ now!! Hern Worsley is a group gift pimp!! I mean, I thought the tinfoil hat with the wooden spoon antennas was great…and the rocket backpack - stellar in its metallic magnificence, maybe unbeatable....until this!!

The Sense Hair, another AVZ group gift and prolly the coolest damned thing that has graced my bald head since ever!! Unofficially called by Dove the “electric jellyfish” hair…with its light tentacles whipping and flowing around, this hair seems almost alive...which brings up the question…is it animated texture with glow effects? is it particle work? Personally, I don’t know…I'm willing to accept it as another one of life’s mysteries, along with “why is the lint in my belly button always blue, no matter what color my shirt is?” and “how do they get the caramel in the caramilk bar?”….and what's that? “the hair is cool but you're not down with white?”…it's scripted with over 140 color choices!! Ding ding ding, we have a winner!!

I slapped on my PrimOptic Arctic Glasses as more of a safety move than a fashion statement…what with those glowing tendrils moving to and fro, I didn’t want to risk my eyes (think of all those hours of taking pics of Dove changing clothes I'd miss out on). Now the Muism Snake Skin Pants? Those were total fashion statement - the statement being I'd rather kill a few pythons than go naked. Paired with my Primitive Design Inmortal T-Shirt and my EKO db Belt, I'm ready to go to…erm, wherever I damn well want I figure, who’s going to get in my way with my 10.000.000 volt hair? Another week, another wicked pair of shoes from Monogrind…this time the post-atomic classy shoes. Knowing that these kind of clothes are awaiting me on the other side, it's enough to help me lose my fear of nuclear holocaust altogether!!

Lastly, I made a new acquaintance this week, blogger Masaru Raymaker…not only is he a great guy, but I learned he had a store in-world that specializes in surf-casual jewelry. Surfing holds a special spot in my heart, right beside girls in boy's underwear. I went there and liked it enough that I ended up buying some goodies - as we were there, he dropped in on us and kindly gifted me with this Silver Necklace with a scripted letter changer …guess what the “L” stands for and win a picture of me in a dress!!

Yes, that’s what Dove called it, and really, how could I argue? If ever I wanted to become a full fledged cyberhippydiscogangster, you know damned well I'd be breaking this Basilisk outfit out my closet, all praise to BareRose!! My visits to BareRose have become an almost daily ritual, as I do my solemn obeisance at their six holy obelisks of vendor ads and wait patiently as they rez in….heart pounding as I stand in eager anticipation to see if there is new boy's greatness to drape my avi's frame in. Acting on a word from Elusyve, the empress of orange, I made a second pilgrimage yesterday and scored!!

Where to start, where to start?? The outfit comes in black, blue, and red, which of course are the official colors of a good beatdown - great start, yeah? When the outfit isn’t being cyberhippydiscogangsterish, it's definitely being slinky and downright glam, what with its faux snakeskin texturing and multi-zippered jacket and leg hugging pants!! Originating from BareRose, of course, you get a boatload of prims to ornament your base shirt and pants….the highlights you ask? One would think I'd pick the belt, I mean you can't really screw up when you take a bad arse skull, surround it with black leather, add rivets and a gleaming chrome chain loop, right?? As wicked great as this belt is though, the winner goes to…*tears open the envelope*…the feathers, duh!! I mean c'mon….the only question is, why make them optional? If you buy this outfit and wear it without the feathered neck, pray I don’t catch you, because I'm likely to beat you around your unfeathered head with my New York Dolls boxed discography….be warned…

Not that the outfit really needs more add-ons, but I can't help tinkering…what's the point of having a five-figure inventory if you're not going to break it out whenever you have the chance? First off, why yes, that is new hair bedecking my crown - Bryce Designs was kind enough to release the new Mikichan hair in order to celebrate my new find at BareRose…erm, ok, that’s probably a lie, it just might have been coincidence. Either way, I come out the winner, because this is a great hair…messy and it moves really nice when you're doing your sl thing…you'll have to take my word for that. Hailing from one of my most watched movies ever, the Road Warrior Boots from Angry Monkey help put some steel toed romp into my stomp….just to make sure I could set off every metal detector in Canada at the same time (all 3), I added my Yabusake 08 Pendant to the mix….why? Because I could. Lastly, I show just a sliver of my Fishnet Shirt from Broken at the nape of my neck…I'm not sure it really adds anything to this outfit, but fishnet makes Dove horny….what's a guy to do?

April's half over and we have had one spring-worthy day in Vancouver to this point - I don’t even know who to blame…is it global warming, the Russians, bad karma, the Illuminati? Who knows! All I know is that the longer it stays cool, the more my day dreams take me to white sands, palm trees, drinks with umbrellas in them and warm buns (and not the kind your grandma just took out of the oven)!!

My head being where it is these days, it didn’t take much for me to fall in love with Nicky Ree’s new Sarong set, the Kenue Casual Batik. It has everything you’d want for a day spent romping Oceanside - swim trunks, a pair of casual beach pants, a sarong, and a matching shirt to boot. The shirt is what really won me over when I saw the ad…with its almost psychedelic dot and swirled patterns, it's perfect retro thrift shop greatness!! The swimsuit reminds me of James Bond walking up out of the water in Casino Royale…I'd have tried to pull off that shot myself, but I think I need a manzilian first, if you know what I mean.…moving on….

I decided to mix and match and grabbed my BitchBeater Baggy Shorts from Sn@tch to cover my pale arse, sort of creating an emo boy visits the beach look. The shorts work for me, deep black with some punkish zippers sewn in front, and some prim cuffs to finish them off. No trip to the beach would be complete without the standard beefcake half in the water snapshot, so far be it for me to break with tradition. Voila, the gratuitous sarong shot!! Plus, it’s a great opportunity to show off a rather sweet tattoo I bought at Slinked, the Crimson Glory Tat.

As much as I'd like to stay and whimsy on about the beach and things warm and breezy, I need to go now and put on some wool socks and throw another quilt on my bed before I go to bed. Boree, if you read this, spread the wealth and send me some of that Floridian sunshine...thanks in advance and we miss you, you dirtiest of dirty hookers!!

Chupping my Moti!!!

Strawberry Singh, photographer/belly dancer/Amazon woman extraordinaire told me I better not put her in my blog, but we all know that really means “put me in your blog”, or at least it does in Lawless world…so here we are. Plus, really, this post wouldn’t have happened without her because she was the nicey who got Zaara Kohime of Zaara Indian Couture to give me my very first Jodhpuri....in black of course!!

I know I'm telling you something you already knew, but humor me while I tell you that a Jodhpuri is a suit that mixes traditional Indian and Western influence...did the turban give it away? This suit comes with lots of options, including jacket, shirt, and jacket/shirt combos…add in some coat and sleeve prims, a nice pair of trousers and a turban and you have the recipe for bollywood hawtness!! The coat is long and sleek, with a nice understated pattern for details…adding flair to the Nehru collar is the embroidery that continues down the coat and collar fringes. The trousers are a matching black, fairly narrow in the leg with a nice flared cuff…just perfect for you to get your Bhangra on when you're on the dancefloor. And If cross dressing isn’t your bag, good news ladies, Zaara makes really nice girl's clothes…although, having cross dressed, I really think you should give it a try…and send me pictures!!

The turban doesn’t come with hair, but it is modifiable…unless SL pulls a fast one on you and makes the one you receive not modifiable. If this happens, you may spend a good half hour or so editing your Armidi hair (the Individual in pearl) to get it to fit nicely under the turban…but come on, what are the chances of that happening??....*grumbles*…Adding a little bit of color to the whole shebang (Dove assures me this is a real word) is my brand new Chain Necklace from Shangri-la…also available in a version for those estrogen challenged readers - or is that estrogenially endowed?? (Dove assures me that word is made up and I'm not very politically correct)

Another reason I love Strawberry today is that thanks to her, I had an excuse to buy new shoes! The Jeeper Creepers Dublins again, but this time the black cherrys - typical great quality, incredible detail and obviously bedazzling on my feet out on the dancefloor!! Now I'm off to watch Dove harshly pleasure herself...and I don’t care, it was worth the doghouse and I'm glad I said it!!

Coaching For Dummies

Ok, I've played organized sports long enough to know how it works; the coach calls you aside, he tells you exactly how you suck for a minute or so, then he spends twice as long telling you the things you are doing well!! Today, finally, I'm the coach and this is Constructive Criticism 101!!

TheZoo…I really like this store, it's true…but…I sincerely hate being a walking advertisement for stores in any life, real, second, after or otherwise. How many outfits ads did I excitedly watch rez on the wall, only to see the words “TheZoo” written across the front, back, collar, beltstrap or whatever? I realize this is one of my pet peeves and it's one that I've spent years fine tuning, but guess what - it's my fechin team so play along!!

Now, before you get the wrong idea about TheZoo, you still need this player on your team, or at least populating a decent spot in your inventory - peeves aside, I was still able to find several outfits that made the cut, and I'm not disappointed by any of them. Case in point, The Phoenix Jacket…this is prolly one of the more simpler pieces I have from the store, but I wanted to lighten things up today and it fit the bill. The shirt has nice shading, I totally love the “phoenix” on the back, and it comes with a tattoo to boot - from the front, it's kind of a rugged-looking Marlboro man shirt (please note Dove wants it to be said that smoking kills and every time you light a cancer stick up, God kills a kitten)…so TheZoo, get back out there and score a goal!! (this is where any coach worth his salt pats his/her player on the arse and then picks up the closest clipboard and studies it officiously)

Now as for the rest of team Lawless…I went back to the Armidi Chinos today, this time to the tan color….nothing much has changed in them since I wore the black ones, but at least you can see the prim cuffs better. Plus, really, if you’re going to own chinos, you need to own a pair in tan…they are timeless classics, sort of like Pee Wee Hermans Big Top Adventure!! Kikis Closet released this brill pendant as I was messing around trying to flesh out this outfit and damned if it doesn’t tie in nice with the phoenix image on the shirt. It has a great black leather and metal necklace and the pendant itself has nice detail, and it manages to be large without being garish. It also comes in boys and girls and the store is really worth going to check out…unless your baby hasn’t had milk in over a week cus you’re spending all your money on damned lindens…then maybe stay away. Another place to avoid if you’re skint is Musim…but thankfully I'm not, so I got this great Colt Hair there the other day - it's inky black, got great messy bangs, and I'm loving how it gets some curl down there where it meets the collar.

So there you go, Team Lawless, all boosted up and ready to win win win!! If you need me, I will be participating in the long honored locker room tradition of rolling up wet towels and raising welts on the arses of my unsuspecting teammates….yeah, I was that guy!!

In the Black Again…

Tonight, I was so going to just get my geek on - I was going to take the night off, watch Survivor, and play Rainbow Six: Las Vegas until I ranked up - no shopping, no blogging, no spending...but just when I thought I was out... they pull me back in!! This time the blame rests solely on Miu’ by Zoex Flanagan. There I was, innocently killing a few minutes, minding my own business and quite content to put all my lindens into RESP’s for my future prim babies when I stumbled into her store…(I was looking for a restroom, I swear)…and the rest…well, you know the rest.

It started off with the ZX Buckle Jacket - I really love this jacket - so much I even IMed Zoex and pulled a fanboy on her! It's unisex, and comes with three prim buckle attachments, and of course, is jet black. The baggy sleeve cuffs and high prim collar coupled with the multiple straps and buckles remind me of some futuristic kung fu/straight jacket combination….insanity and martial arts - best combo ever!! Of course, no new jacket is complete without new pants to match. Remember when you wrote on your jeans with ball point pen and your mum blew a turd?? Well, Zoex says it's ok, and to prove it, she wrote all over her ZX Punk Jeans, and I mean all over, I searched these bad boys and the only graffiti I couldn’t find was “For a good time, call Kitty Lalonde at…” These jeans are just greatness, they're black, all faded out, patched and stitched up, with a real funky flare at the bottom - these are the pants that you had to hide under the bed to keep your mum from throwing out....cus parents just don't understand!

With those groovy flares needing to be filled, I realized I needed some nice chunky shoes to work it…that’s when I remembered my Mosh and Roll Shoes from Monogrind…*cough* thanks Dove *cough* These shoes are so superbly detailed, and they only get better the closer you zoom in…from the grainy pebbles of the texture, to the seriously bad arse metal bands and spikes, these shoes filled my needs to a T. They are also small enough to grace a girl's foot…I know cus Dove is stomping all over the treehouse with her's as I write. If you haven’t gone to Find Ash to get hair yet, this Royal Mischief hair is just one more reason for you to stop camping or watching donkey porn or whatever your lame excuse is and get your arse there now!! It's a near-shoulder length, messy kind of anime style…and…wait for it… it comes in black!!

Ok, that’s it, enjoy kids, I'm done. As of this moment, I officially quit shopping, blogging and all that goes with it….erm...wait…a new tux at Muism??...and shirts at Sey??...*squirms*…mother, father kindly disregard this letter.

Confessions of a clothes hor…

Earlier this week, while on a shopping romp with Dove, we took me to Valiant because she heard there was new yummy there. Before I bought anything, I decided to search my inventory, just in case…and realized that not only had I bought several items there, I had never even worn one of them…ever. The first step is admitting that you have a problem….but instead, I decided to just wear and blog some of them - phew, that was close!!

I chose the Black Military Blazer to break my Valiant cherry and I don’t regret a thing. First of all, everyone knows girls love guys in uniforms, so that’s a plus. It's black like the night, and full of prim attachments, which is more bang for your buck (Redgrave, please take note). It comes in two sizes, with prim cuffs, collar, pockets and shoulder pins. Although I love the white cuffs, personally, I think it was the shiny buttons that won me over - what can I say, I'm a simple man with simple tastes. The details on the jacket are quite nice, and it didn’t take much wrestling with the prims to make everything fit great.

Armidi got off my shite list by finally releasing some more boy's clothes…but don’t think I didn’t notice they made tons more for the girls again, like they needed it! Anyways, I love'em in RL so I grabbed their Low Rise Chinos (in black, in case you wondered). The pictures don’t really do the detail justice, so you have to take my word for it….*flashes a used car salesman smile*…they come with cool bunched up prim leg bottoms and they are actually blacker than my soul!! I wasn’t even sure that was possible until this moment. Topping my crown is the Reznor Hair from Sinistyle - I liked it enough to buy it in a few colors…I have to thank my man crush on Trent Reznor for that purchase, just wearing it makes me feel Closer to him…get it? see NIN has this song?? It’s the best love song ever, google the lyrics and sing it to your significant other.

In order to head off the “originality lynch squad” roaming the grid these days, I just wanted to give props to Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison and Dracula for inspiring me to mix black with black when I'm getting dressed…I'd also like to thank the cast of the movie Hoosiers for inspiration to wear Chuck Taylor knockoffs on my feet!! I sincerely hope I haven’t missed anyone because Lord knows I care, I really really do!!

Rhymes with orange...

Dear Elusyve, see what you’ve done to me?? Orange, it's not just for breakfast anymore. To be fair, this post actually started when Sn@tch decided to mix latex with cheetah pattern. I got the notice and faster than you can say “it's not easy being cheesy”, I had purchased the greatest rock star pants in my inventory. These pants come in two layers, are dangerously low cut (arse crackers), and the latex is prolly the best looking that I have ever bought (other than the Gimp outfit Dove makes me wear when I've been bad). Its got a nice sheen, maybe bordering on a little too “oily” for my preference, but not enough to keep me from buying them in several pattern combinations - plus, it's cheetah - how rawr is that?? Before I could leave the store, I realized there was a Burnt Orange Thermal that was dying to be matched to my new yummy, rubbery, goodness. I dig the low-cut collarless neck on the thermal and I like the way the rough looking wool contrasts with the sleekness of the latex… it looks real worn in and comfortable, the way a jumper should be.

The basics taken care of, it was time to accessorize. I started with this new hair from Detour, the Writer II Hair - this hair is a standout to me in that I don’t really own anything that looks quite the same. A longish messy hair with a sweet wave to it.…although Pie called me Bon Jovi when she saw me wearing it, I think this hair really reminds me of Michael Hutchence, from INXS, who is obviously way cooler than Bon Jovi, except for maybe the autoerotic asphyxiation thing…and even then. Also helping me rock the orange were my old faithful Pornstar Hi-tops from UBU and another wicked pair of shades from Primoptic, the Hawke Glasses.

Yabusaka released their 08 Pendant just as I was primping in front of the mirror trying to find the right metal to help me rock you like a hurricane!! Talk about right time, right place, this pendant is the right mix of fine details and manly chunkiness….tell me I'm wrong!! Keeping my pants on and hiding my arse crack from the elements is my beloved Punky Studded Belt from Monogrind. I finished things off with PD’s Insurrection piercings (I really should take them out and clean them one day), and some more PD goodness, the vicious little Wired Wristbands. That being done, all I need to do now is finish my 45 page rock star rider - lets see, where was I?

Typical country leather...

Sometimes, my outfits are definitely influenced by RL and what I'm grabbing from my closet on any given day. In this case, early spring days here mean it's sunny but still not real warm - perfect time to break out your leathers that you hid from the rain all winter!! Not that I lack leathers to break out of my inventory, but how happy was I when Muism graciously introduced some more lovely cow hide to my collection. The Skinny Biker jacket is one of those pieces that I knew I was going to be unable to buy in just one color…thank goodness they are totally affordable!!...*cough*…To be fair, you’re getting a ton of options here, including both a jacket and shirt layer, and sleeves rolled up or down, to boot - not sure I’ve ever rolled the sleeves up on a leather jacket, but dare to dream!! Some of the colors they chose for this jacket are really great, proof positive, I found both the blue and brown versions so rich in color and detail that I totally forgot to buy the jacket in black - hell hath frozen over!! Because the prim lower jacket comes in four different sizes it makes it really easy to fit your frame...beats doing crunches!

While Dove was distracted by a handful of jelly beans, I lifted her wallet out of her Hannah Montana purse and continued my Muism shopping spree. The new Rio hair seemed a likely suspect…first of all, it’s a toque, eh - at least in Canada it is, otherwise I suppose you could call it a woven knit hat and hair combination that is scripted and has several color choices for your pleasure. I like it because the hat is not insanely huge and the hair peeks out enough to add a realistic look and not make me look like I'm in week four of chemo treatments - not that there’s anything wrong with that…or…erm, damned political correctness! Tis a good thing Dove doesn’t know I was using her monies or she'd have worked me twice as hard as she did when she found out I bought the 40% Transparency Top at Muism as well…it is kind of expensive for a tank top, but hell, I was on a roll, and not only does it have that rumpled up comfortable “I should have thrown this shirt away last year” look, but you can also see my nipples through it!! Win!!

Alas, although I could have easily made an entire outfit at Muism, it was not in the stars. Mostly because I had just bought another wicked pair of jeans; the vintage Ronins. WMD is pretty much my favorite jeans maker in SL right now, the details are so brill. I really like the way these jeans look so perfectly worn-in, and I didn’t have to wash them 40 times to get them there. Lastly, these boots were not made for walking, they were made for the foot pegs of a Harley…the chunky black buckled boots are kick arse greatness, and really work well with an old pair of jeans and your favorite leather. That being said, go now and make these things your own!! I'm off to sit on Elusyve's hog while she sleeps and make motorcycle sounds and look tough and shite!!

It was mere moments after Shai announced their release of the Eromenons Toga for men that Kallisto IMed me and told me I had to blog it. Little did she know I already had one leg up on the side of the tub and was shaving in eager anticipation (with Dove's razor of course…payback's a bish!!).

Tired of being the guy wearing the 360 thread count Martha Stewart sheets to all the toga parties on campus, this release couldn’t have come at a better time - although, I do look great in Martha, don’t get me wrong…in fact, I’d look good in a lot of people, I bet…..but I digress. If you’re in the market, this toga is shiny white greatness…equipped with a prim flexi skirt and a prim peplos (the part of the robe that drapes over your shoulder, kind of like a shawl for those of you that wondered…thanks Google!!). They also come with some glitch undies for those of you not willing to shareyour mangina with the world in general.

Now, while historians will have you believe that men in Ancient Greece and Rome favored short hair, some very long and diligent study sessions (*cough* drinking beer *cough*) have led me to the revelation that they actually liked to rock the fro!! I wanted to keep it real, so I went to Boon and grabbed the KAR07 hair to help me adorn my classical look. I love this wild black mess - Medusa, eat your heart out!! Finishing everything off with some metal, I polished up my Byzantine Chain Choker from Essentia and slapped it on, and then got my spikes on with my Insurrection piercings from Primitive Design…and that is how we do!! Now that I've perfected my Froga outfit, I'm only lacking for one thing - yup, you guessed it - concubines and palm frond waving hand servants!! My brain took a vacation; I only wish the rest of me could have joined it!! If I could have, I would have made sure the trip covered my vacation “essential three” list - warm sun, white sand, and fresh mangos. Which explains why in my fifteen years living in Canada, vacation means heading south. Yearning for a break, but buried in work, I fed my wanderlust with travel agency window shopping and some SL exploring…which led me to one of my favorite all time destinations in RL, Costa Rica (well, besides Red Lobster, that is)!!

Essential vacation gear starts with a hat, to protect your acclimatized Canadian head from that equatorial sun - but not just any hat, as Harrison Ford will tell you, it has to look cool too. Clearly Super Possessed understood this when they made the Street Shaman hat, even the damned name is slick; with its nice wide brim and sinister looking hat band, this hat is an adventurer's must. Another must is great shades, of course…Primoptics Blues glasses are as always, chock full of scripted options and the classic ray-ban look announced to anyone who cares that I'm “on a mission from God”…erm, ok, I'm on a mission to drink myself into a Central American stupor is probably more accurate…

Being an explorer at heart, I couldn’t pass up the “Dora” shorts at DeLa, nor the chance to make that corny reference. These shorts are so great, the faded worn in textures, the prim cuffs with their button ties, and the bulky prim pockets to jam your colones into…no, not your large intestine, your monies, duh!! Another bonus to shorts is I get to show off another wicked tattoo from Etchd, the Jekyll tat. Keeping my trekking frame warm is my Leonardo Sweater, found at the Rahz Store - there’s so many things I dig about this sweater, from the collarless low cut, the way that it hangs so comfortably on you, the deep rich brown woven wool, the flared sleeves, it screams rest and relaxation, almost as much as jumbo margaritas....and that’s a lot!! Finally, lest I forget about Dove while I was winking at foreign senoritas, I tore out her little bird heart and inserted it into this sweet skeletal claw hand I got at Primitive Design - who says you can't take it with you??

Ok, I seriously was inclined to drag my arse and write my “ode to emerald” post fashionably late, like in a day or two, but Dove said if the cascade of green on the feed didn’t end soon, she might go postal, and truth be told, I'm kind of scared of her. So here it is, on time and just catching the end of Patty’s weekend…whoever the hell she was…

Normally, a couple of days bereft of the dark comfort of my leather would leave me shaking like a Chihuahua in the Canadian cold, but Rot. Designs somehow fed my jones with wool. The Broder Vest in Olive not only got me into today’s green parade, but unlike some of the hideous flora and fauna disguised as clothes, it actually looks great!! More layering today, this time starting with a long-sleeved, dressy olive shirt and tie combo - I really like the contrast the white collar adds to the look, and I love the “unbuttoned shirt, just waiting for the day to end, so I can throw off this fechin tie” feel!! I’m totally down with the deep green of the tailored heavy wool vest, and it keeps you looking hawt while hiding your pit stains…how’s that for functionality?? The shock of black on my head is wild greatness from Candy House, another ninja shopping find - I may be wearing a tie but my unruly, long locks and my Porn Star kicks tell anyone listening I'm not your dad's accountant!!

Determined not to wear my black Aitui Reborn slacks again, I grabbed my hidden forest pair instead!! Formal or just sipping coffee on the patio at Starbucks, pants like these are always there for you. Of course, if you are sitting on that patio as the low-lying sun starts to thaw out the frozen north, you seriously need good shades - to protect your eyes of course, and more importantly, to hide your obvious girl ogling. PrimOptic’s Arctic glasses to the rescue!! These brilliant glasses boast a mad array of built-in script changes, including a lens color of green!!! To keep me from being late for the first round of Guinness at the pub is my new Spiked Bracelet Watch from RICX…it's finely detailed, freaking cool and the spikes?? my favorite part! They just shout “I'm Lawless and I'm here to foight”!! Before I take off to go watch a movie with Dove (not ripped of course, lord forbid!) let me check my Patty’s day stereotype checklist - - hmmm...shamrocks, olive, forest, green and Guinness…looks good…I tink for good measure I could trow in a few potatoes, a pot of gold and a leprechaun (pronounced la-preach-kin for the uneducated)…and we're all good til next year!! Top of the evening to you!!

T.G.I.F.!!!

Ok, I know it's Saturday, but hey, I told you I was a procrastinator - or maybe I'm such an eager beaver I'm writing this six days in advance, you decide!! If there’s one day that people get to go casual in the office, it's usually Friday. In my case, Friday is a day to get out of my work grubs and go schmooze (definition – shove my nose incredibly far up some union bigwigs arse). To schmooze these guys you want to show them you can clean up well without getting too dressy….jeans are essential to show them you’re still one of the boys.

That being said, my Sugoi Ronin Jeans were perfect for my brown nosing forays!! I love how the denim on these jeans looks so heavy and the wrinkles and faded out parts are just right. In fact, I liked them enough that after wearing them for a few minutes, I bought a couple of different pairs from the store - they are versatile in that you can dress down these jeans with a simple tee or in my case, dress them up when I go and wash the stink off my nose with a few Crantinis…

Dressing up was easy with the Casual Friday's top from Nylon Outfitters. Sadly, the shirt/vest/jacket are all one layer, but I really like the combo itself - starting with the slightly frumpled striped shirt, to the zipper front sweater in brown (which matches my contract seeking nose!!) and ending with a slick looking subtly striped jacket, this outfit is just right to announce to the world “Hi ladies, my name is Lawless and I have my nose wedged in all the right arses!!” Topping it all off, I threw on my new Knit Cap…or “toque” as everyone calls it here in Vancouver, eh. This cap comes with hair attached and is color scripted - my multiple 5,000 watt face-lights washed out the color somewhat but I was happy with the look, it made the cap look well-worn and a bit color-faded - that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Now I'm off to the washroom to see if I can't brillo pad some of this old industrialist stink off until next Friday!!

Ok, at the end of five crappy days, I officially declare the score to be Lawless – 1, Illness - 0....hell yeah, a shutout!! Moving on, I present the “Byron” outfit from Avid. I have to tell you, this outfit had a lot going against it right from the start. First of all, I rarely find a whole boxed outfit that I like all or even most of the pieces of. Secondly, it was verging on the 1,000 linden mark, so if it ends up sucking arse, that’s just insult on injury. Fortunately, it had some pros, one of the foremost being Winter told me that Avid makes some of the best leathers he has ever come across in SL, and being of the vampiric ilk, I was assured of the fact that he knew leather as well as he knew blood types (group A if you’re keeping score at home). That in mind, I decided to break the Sailor Moon piggybank Dove got me for Festivus and took the plunge!!

WIN!! This outfit made me quickly forget about its price and my trepidations over its possible “suck” factor. The details front and back are amazing, the textures are well done and the pieces work so well together. I'm afraid these pictures don’t really do the leather pants justice, what with their textured rich black folds and subtle highlights - the pants themselves come in two versions; over the boots and under boots. I loved the woolen jacket right off, and it comes with more prim attachments than I have crumpled up Kleenex on my bedroom floor right now. The only bad thing about the jacket is that its hiding a really sexy black silk shirt - rowr!! The side cloak attachment is so wicked, sheer and delicate, almost ethereal, like a wispy black vapor haunting your backside - much cooler than the black heads that normally grace it, I'd venture to say!! I also love the quill-like sleeve laces hanging off the jacket…there’s actually two of them but some dork didn’t realize he wasn’t wearing one of them until days after…can I blame it on the Nyquil??

If Prince had been to Acid Designs, he would have tossed that raspberry pretender and been singing about my black Beret instead!! Of course, If I wasn’t “wearing much more," he probably would have jumped to his death from the tree house, but that’s his loss. This outfit also comes with boots, and I have to be honest, I didn’t try them on - the thing is, I have a boner for my Gutterblood boots, and it's hard for me to stop humping them in all their black leathery grandeur!! Thus ends my first post since I practically died from the flu - for all of those I have been handing fashion cookies out to since last Friday, I'm sorry for double dipping in the dough and here’s hoping you feel better!!

On The Road Again….

It's that age old story, told over and over again in SL - boy meets girl, girl pegs him for “trouble” but hangs around anyways, girl and boy build dream tree house in the sky together, girl tells sim owner Juan Cusack to lay off with the creepy, old man, fatal attraction impression and keep it professional, boy gets banned from the sim immediately and girl spends all day packing up the goldfish and empty wine bottles....but (there’s always a but)....although homeless, and forced back to the hard streets he started on, the boy now has a vast inventory and a paid account meaning if he’s going hobo, he’s going to do it in style!!

Any self-respecting tramp knows you aren’t shite without a decent backpack to carry the sum of your worldly possessions around in - that’s why I went shopping at PrimtroniCS!! I give you the Realshape Rucksack, this 255 prim, nicely detailed wonder has everything a hobo in his prime might need; canteens, bed roll, bits of rope, and a condom (*cough* xtra large *cough*)! If yellow is not your vagabond cup of tea it has eight texture choices scripted in too - nuff said!! You’d think after watching 15 straight seasons of Survivor, I'd know how to light a fire…but taking no chances, I got this rusty mining helmet to light my way, and keep my unwashed locks safe from pigeon crap. Dumpster diving always reeks havoc on my waistline, so I grabbed this Hemp Rope Tech Belt, it's pimped out with a canteen, compass, watch and tin cup, and it's adjustable and looks damned fashionable, in a sort of rustic, rope-like way!!

Knowing my boots needed to be made for walking, I went with my Civvies Basic Workboots…I like the way the extra long laces wrap around the top of the boots, helping to keep that road dirt off my wooly socks. I'd love to say that the my long hard minutes on the street are the reason I'm looking a little tattered around the edges, but really, I bought my jeans and shirt a little worse for wear - I'm playing the public sympathy card…*flashes a puppydog look and holds his hand out* Looking for the final piece of my hobo puzzle, I remembered my Drone Jacket from Homicide Designs...this faded-out, rumpled, fatigue jacket is one piece that will not go back into my transient trunk when I finally find a place to lay my head again…*sighs forlornly*…ok, we bought land already, but for a second there, you were starting to mist up, admit it…

How Bazaar!!

I think I'm starting to figure out this FashCon thing! High 5!! It appears if you actually take time to read the notices now and then, you may just stumble across stores you haven’t heard of containing clothes you want to own!! Who knew?? Case in point, I recently stumbled into Temple Oe’s store, Bazaar, after reading a notice that was both amusing and promised boy's clothes - this combination being rare, I immediately told Dove she could stop filing my corns and tped - - - into a furniture store - - - after some mild cursing into Dove’s ear (she likes it), I noticed a sign on the store wall promising clothes around the corner and voila! - another FashCon happy ending!!

I started off buying the pinstriped pants....I like their versatility, easy to dress down or dress up - I dig their style and I really love the hipster 60’s pinstripes. Be warned, all these pants are very low cut, so be prepared to show some arse if you’re not careful. I tried to leave after that one simple purchase (scout's honor), but then I noticed the vest with wide tie combo…with the nice subtle stripes running down the shirt's body and arms, it was screaming to be worn with my new pants - and the tie?...great big wide retro shop sweetness!! You’d think wearing Magikas “Time Has No Meaning” Bracelet (thanks Bo!) would help me be on top of the time at any point in the day, but strangely, six wrist watches all showing different times and running faster than the white rabbit's pocket watch is kind of confusing. On the other hand, there is no confusion with Jeepers Creepers' new Dublin shoes…you know you are getting quality, great looking, beautifully detailed shoes.

After wearing this combo around for a day and a half, which is a lifetime in my 10 second attention-span world, I decided to go back and add a few more Bazaarities to my closet. I had fun mix and matching my new threads together for all the world to see (or my three readers…love you guys!!). While I really do like the styles I found there, I'd really love them if the textures didn’t blur so much upon close inspection and it would be great if they came in separates with more layer options - dare to dream!! That being said, if you need me, I will be at the mirror in the washroom, carefully plucking all the white hairs off my head…….3002, 3003, 3004, 3005….

Going Medieval on your arse…

So there I was, having a secret mid-day tryst with Chrisy backstage at the SL Globe Theatre - and by tryst, of course I mean innocently hanging out looking at pictures of the most amazing costumes the actors are wearing for their performance of Hamlet - wanting a piece of the action, I tickled Chrisy until she gave me enough lindens for one of the Barerose medieval outfits and I was on my way!!

I started with the Rogue outfit from Barerose, with its fitted silver breastplate, gauntlets, and flowing red mantle - recognizing that the quality of a knight's armor was a reflection of his status and lifestyle, this outfit screams on the battlefield “who’s your daddy now?? starts with an L!” I couldn’t go feudal without breaking the kilts out again.…this time it’s the bad arse red plaid kilt from Snatch, the Oi boy!! It comes as part of an outfit which is quite nice in its own right - and what a coincidence, the kilt comes with my family crest attached…. the anarchy sign!!

Final touches to my costume were my Underworld silver boots, from L&B Designs…these boots are gorgeously detailed and shinier than Mr. Clean's head - in fact, if one were to stand in just the right position, you could prolly see my Celtic bits!! Topping this mash-up off with my King of Fools crown again, I was satisfied - until I realized, I needed a kingdom to tromp around in!!

I did a search for the word “castle” and then carefully skipped over every entry that had the words Gorean, sex dungeon, xxx, and the like. I stopped at Triskele.…a quick tp and minutes later, I was in love. Starting with a majestic castle, and spreading out from there in all directions, it's a very realistically detailed and sprawling fantasy world encompassing over 10 sims!! I was also lucky enough to run into the gracious Leanne Jael, the real heathen Queen who seemed to enjoy my head in a guillotine a little too much. I brought Dove back the next day and we walked about for a good hour and a half, exploring Castles, a market square, fairy gardens, and the like...*rubs his aching feet*…oh, my kingdom for a horse!!

Take one Bettie Page lucky chair, set to the letter L, strike your sexiest [LAP] pose, add some tartan red, a swath of gray and mix in some checkers for good measure and you have a recipe for RAWR!!

For some strange reason, I was the only dude in the anxious circle that surrounded the Big Bomb lucky chair when Bo tped me the other day - what a win!! Can you say emo Samoan drag queen, anyone?? (one of my lifelong dreams) Not only is this hair just one big pile of tangly curled fun, but Dove didn’t dump my arse when I came home wearing it (if you're keeping score at home, that’s a double win!!). Slowly sinking into my sea of hair is my brand new King of Fools crown from Primitive Design - I know it's not much of a title, but it beats my old one, the “Prince of Profanity!!"

I'm not much for silk-screened t-shirts in real life, but this Samurai shirt from P.D. is starting to win me over on occasion, especially when I'm getting my grubby on. I snatched the tartan tie out of Emery’s Thrice set because I figured it was a nice tie into my very well-worn Fightclub Punk Pants - hopefully I can help undo the damage that Avril did to all t-shirt/tie wearing people around the world. I decided to wear not one, but two belts in an effort to ebb the flow of “Lawless crack” shots that have begun to make their way onto Flickr….damn you low cut jeans!! The misfit belt by Beckenbauer was a real pleasant surprise, I really should unpack stuff when I get it…

With all that plaid working it, I slapped on my checked joker socks, realizing that checks are last year's plaid, which is next year's stripes…erm…(*consults his fashion for dummies guidebook*)...anyways, last and not least at all, I had tons of fun scuffing up my new Pornstar kicks as I crawled around the photosphere floor, shaking my arse at Dove and trying to look my seductive best!! Did it work?? Hell no, I eventually packed it in, took the hair off, and promised to take her shoe shopping!! My Momma didn’t raise no fool!

A Boy and his Toys

I….like free things and I cannot lie!! And what I especially like is the fact that free in SL doesn’t necessarily mean shite, as it more often does in RL. Case in point, the two free shirts I got from About (not to mention the free monkey avatar, but that’s another post!!). As is my custom, having saved some money, I decided I needed to spend it immediately - and what better way to spend it than on shiny things!! Big boy sized, shiny things that go vroom!! And after seeing the sweetest ride outside Truth the other day, I knew just where I needed to go.

Walking in to AM Pro Rides, piggybank in hand, I was glad I chose the black shirt from About, I thought it might hide the drool easier. I think this shirt is great, it’s casually wrinkled, and the white panels in front are a great contrast, especially against the darker black on the undershirt. I paired it with one of my favorite pair of pants, the Reborn Pants from Aitui - I like these pants cus they are versatile as all hell and as a bonus, they are as dark black as my soul! I was excited to find these Stivalletti shoes at Naima the other day because they matched the pair I have here in RL…they are glossy and sleek, and as a bonus, no fechin laces!!

Studio Sidhe helped add details to my car shopping threads with these awesomely detailed celtic knotwork belts and cuffs. The belt is actually the first belt I ever bought, and the cuffs are a welcome new addition to the fold. I have seriously been meaning to mention the faded black nails I found at Sinistyle for weeks - after wasting money on a few other attempts, I was so glad to find these. The positioning of the nails is perfect, and the way the polish is slightly dull and starting to chip is exactly the look I was trying to find. Plus I have a man crush on Krius….*cough* Moving on, I topped off my outfit (all pun intended!) with the FAA25 hair from Boon. I love its bad boy stylings, it’s long and wild and it's sweet the way the hair looks to be straining to get out of the bandana wrapped over it, sort of reminds me of the sports equipment in my hall closet!!

And just for the record?? I have no recollection how those dirty footprints ended up in the back seat of that Camaro - and the scratches on the hood of the GTO?? Dear sneakers in my inventory…I’m writing this post to let you know I’ve met another pair. I know, I know that just days ago I called you the “best ever” sneakers and I told people I couldn’t imagine ever needing to buy another pair - but you need to believe me when I say it’s not you, it’s me, I'm a hor!! You must have known that…didn’t you see all the other sneakers before you, jumbled in the back of my inventory gathering dust?? I don’t want to not wear you anymore, I will still wear you, just not so much, I just need a break from you right now…I hope you understand.

It happened in the usual way - I see the shoes on someone else’s feet, I break the 10th commandment, I make them mine. The shoes this time are the PornStar Hi-Tops Multi Color from Urban Bomb Unit….I know there’s never an excuse for cheating, but….(there’s always a but)…check this out. First of all, they are called PornStars!! How great is that?? Next, these shoes are fully menu driven, or if you’re a traditionalist, or live in a club ridden lagfest, you can always use the type commands. You can modify the shoes together or separately - and they come with a nice set...oooh, what a set….of modding options!

The shoes come boxed in 4 sizes, and if those aren’t right, they are fully modifiable to make sure you get the right fit!! They are also copiable - find a style you really like?? Copy it and rename it and you’re money!! They have an AO option in the menu if you want to try out a boy's walk or girl's walk. You want to change the outside or inside fabric?? 24 color choices, including pink skulls, plaid, leather, blue camo and zebra. The laces not working for you?? 15 color changes just waiting for you to try out!! You can also change the stitches (9 colors), the shoe borders (dark/light) and the rings (dark/light)!! I know this might have come as a shock to you, but I'm hoping even you can see why I wore these pornstars all day long yesterday, while you languished in your box!!

So...erm, I hope this letter finds you warm and dry, and oh yeah, yesterday's sneakers - we can still be friends, alright??

OI Got Punk'd!!!

It's true, I did.…but not by this generation's finest actor, Ashton Kutcher…*coughs*…I got punk’d while I was wandering around looking for photo ops and stumbled upon a little store called Theoioi’s - I'm about to get informative so brace yourself (“the oi oi’s”??…Oi! being a working class street-level subgenre of punk rock that originated in the United Kingdom in the late 1970s.) Theoioi’s is full of leather and denim jackets, customized with spikes, studs, and paint, tartan pants and patched and bleach splattered jeans….in other words, every mother's dream for her little boy. Oh, and did I mention cheap like dirt??

After spending the night with Bo in her peacock dress, I was suffering from extreme peacock envy and I saw the clothes here as a way to get my rainbow on and thumb my nose at authority while I was at it (whomever that might be). Starting at the top, I bedecked my crown with the purtiest Mohawk from Black Maria, the Tia in red.…no rooster ever looked so hawt!! Trying the Oxymoron jacket on, I found it a little sparse, thank goodness for my accessory folder - I grabbed some prims off my Brutal Gear Jacket, and let Monogrind do the rest of the work, with their super detailed belts and bracers.

Being a complete bish for tartan and plaid, the Double Tartan pants were an easy pick…the seams were decent enough, and they have more zippers than MJ’s retro red vinyl jacket - that’s a good thing in this case!! Things can get rough in the mosh pit, so I went back to Monogrind for my buckled kneepads, and threw on a leg strap from Sinistyle for good measure. Breaking with Oi tradition, I shelved the doc martens and dug out my Rustic Demise Boots from Spider Productions. These were the second pair of boots I ever bought and at the time, I thought they were really well made - proof in the pudding, 700 pairs of boots later and the textures and details on these boots still made me growl like rawk star when I put them on.

Anyways, I’m off to prowl the Wastelands some more….damned if I didn’t lose a contact somewhere in the burning tire heap!!

One day, I would really love to be a quiet observer inside Santa’s workshop - aka The Bare Rose clothing factory....I’m pretty sure they would give those little elves a run for the money. It confounds me how they are able to consistently put out a steady stream of men’s and women’s outfits, chock full of every attachment you could think to wear. I was kind of having a rant because their last release seemed to be two ladies outfits and nothing for the hairier sex - I was in mid moan when Dove pointed out the Hell Fire outfit for men....tis too bad really, cus it was going to be a great moan!!

Hell Fire is a overcoat/camo pant combination that comes in three different colors (black, dark brown, light brown), the jacket comes with six different prim attachments, and there's gloves, necklace and a tattoo to boot!! The overcoat has the sweetest long tattered tails on it…not since I squeezed into Tri’s Valle dress have I had so much fun simply walking around. I also dig the curvy shoulder prims and the high rounded collar…in fact, I liked this jacket so much it was a full day before I even noticed it was gray!!

Scrounging what ever attach points Bare Rose left me, I decided to adorn myself with trinkets of various shapes and sizes - somewhere along the way, a skullish theme seemed to happen (maybe not such a surprise given my tastes). Starting on my head, I unpacked (literally) my Virus Co. skully top hat, and dropped it on for a very “something wicked this way comes” look - I like the crimson band on this hat, and it has more skulls than my rabbit graveyard!! As a bonus, you can wear hair underneath this hat, which really should be more common. The skull adorning continued with my face, where I applied my nifty Aitui skull face tat...*waits for Bo to try to wipe it off with a wet finger*….

Next stop, midsection….heh, sounds like some kind of erotic elevator, doesn’t it? You know you all want to stay for one more floor. The Works provided both belt and bracelets, appropriately skully.…I took close ups because I think the textures on the belt are great, and the sculpty prims are very realistic - oh, and they have skulls, I mentioned that, right?

Moving down to the…...boots…ha!!...no pelvis stops for you perverts!! I have been waiting for a chance to wear these Skull Crusher Boots from Civvies - if not with this outfit, then when?? (except maybe with my next dress review) The details on these boots are brilliant, and hey, can you really go wrong with big old skulls on the end of your feet?? That being said, I’m off to jam more memory in this computer, not that I don’t love crashing out of SL every time my avatar burps!!

Last night, we went to the SL event of the year - Nic and Dahl’s house wrecking….erm, housewarming party at Harajukubox Town!! Wow, what a party!! Hobbit orgies, cawk sawks, vampire gentlemen, Depende stalking, and the usual depravity that takes place at these events. As the guests started to trickle home, Dove filled her purse with “gifts” while I distracted our gracious hosts and we both snuck off into the night…

Sneaking into the night was easy for me, thanks to my new Chuck All Stars from Akeyo…if you didn’t hear it from Nic already, why haven’t you?? Like Nic said, these shoes have 12 color combinations, you can change the tongue, laces and main body separately and best of all, they look great!! Oh, and look mum, I don’t tie my laces in SL either!!

I complimented the best-ever sneakers with my most favorite cargo pants, Barerose Cargo Trousers in khaki - these things have more prim attachments than my MegaUberX2000 Xcite Package, if you can believe that!! Dove talked me into the Soul Doubt Hoodie at Emery, and after wearing it a bit, I was glad she did. The jacket comes with a prim hoodie, and I really liked the way the wild patterns played off my solid pants. These are the kind of function meets fashion clothes I look for in RL, I can easily imagine kicking around in them down Robson Street, or in this case, a perfect outfit for kicking around Hbox Town while Dove shows me all the things Nic and Dahl “gave” us at the party.

On my head, this waterfall of cascading black locks is the Maguma hair. I like the textures used in the hair, and I also like the way it stays shaggy all the way around my head. If you’re interested, you can find it at Black Maria (once again)…you’d think I went and spent 3,000 linden there or something. *cough* They say the first step is admitting you have a problem….”Hi, I’m Lawless, and I can't stop buying hair on SL”…now you all say “Hi Lawless!!”…

Anyways, I need to go and help Dove set up our new fish tank that only looks suspiciously identical to Nic and Dahl’s…except the fact that their fish wasn’t hopping all over the table like a Mexican jumping bean.

Ok, I admit it, sometimes I’m easily swayed - after watching Dove walk around for the last few days with the Digit Darkes voluminous Glitter Punk hair, I realized I needed in on the big arse hair action!! Setting out with lindens in hand and a bald head to load down, I stumbled across Black Maria, and as you can see, I scored big time!! From the psychedelic rawk star head wrapping, to the explosion of black, long, spiky greatness, the “Lightning” hair was everything I was looking for and more.…approximately twenty pounds more!! I so want to wear this to a cinema and sit in the middle row.

So I had the hair, now what to wear with it?? As much as I love it, I have to admit, I prolly don’t have anything in my inventory that was going to be a complete “hand in glove” fit…but that’s only because I don’t think that outfit has been invented yet…

As I was pondering, I got an IM from Bo, telling me she had to show me a store - dun dun dun!! Wincing because I had already spent the baby’s milk money at Black Maria, I quickly pawned Dove's Xbox360 and rushed to join Bo - good thing too, because Massimo made my SL day yesterday. Where do I start with this Hijikata Suit?? First of all, I really love the cut of this suit, it’s this delicious darkest of dark green, with a lighter green lining that peeks out when you’re walking. You can wear it with the jacket, or just the shirt/vest combo, or both - I actually like the built in belt that comes with the suit, which is generally a rare thing for my fickle self. The suit has some prim attachments and also comes with its own shoes….you’ll have to take my word on that. The only (little) problem I have is that the suit’s jacket tails don’t flow so well so when you’re walking around, forming this lovely “rocket tube” pointing from your arse….always good when people are following too close in those crowded malls!!

Anyways, I need to go, Dove is making me set up a petting zoo for my hair to try to get that damned Xbox out of hock....it’s on a donation basis, and please people, no kids with cotton candy or mouths full of chewing gum!!

If you’ve never been to Vancouver in your life, what the hell is wrong with you?? If you have, not only do you rawk, but you couldn’t help but notice the cradle of mountains surrounding the city - and of course, mountains can only mean one thing….snowboarding!! (no offense to skiing, hiking, avalanches, waterfalls, clean air and the other myriad of things that like to habituate around mountains) When I saw this cool down jacket, I bought it faster than you can say “Dove lend me 100 linden!!” I really love the retro look of the jacket, and the bright colored stripes over the white body scream “hey everyone, watch me hit this tree!!” After trying it on, I knew that I needed to bust my SL snowboarding cherry.

As I was excitedly rushing out the treehouse door, I realized I had no pants on….that’s where these sweet white Zippy pants from Wrong came to my rescue! Girl pants?? I think not!! Lord knows what damage sliding down that rope would have done without them!! My Saru hair from Black Maria comes with a camo headband to keep my hectic mop of hair out of my eyes while I spin, flip and hand plant the afternoon away. My next stop was Lost & Found Snowboarding shop, where I outfitted myself with the crucial gear. I found some great BRB snow goggles, with 3 different colored lenses - remember, protecting your eyes from glare doesn’t mean you have to look dorky!! Apparently, the folks at Lost & Found realized the easiest way to sell me a boot/board combination was to call it Naked. All their boards have great graphics and they are well proportioned, and more importantly, they actually work on the slopes!

Speaking of which, Onboard Snowboard Park needs to be on your SL vital destinations list!! It has several different runs, a kickarse half-pipe run, rail slides and huge slalom jumps, a chair lift, an après ski lounge and an equipment shop. Dove and I spent a good hour carving snowy serene slopes, grabbing huge air, and doing epic face plants. Important to note, if you are interested in getting your shred on, Onboard has a FREE board/boots set in the equipment shop that comes with a HUD equipped with a bunch of different extreme tricks, so now you have no excuse, little groms!!

Alright snow bunnies and hares, that’s the end or your lesson for today….if you need me, I'll be drinking gallons of coffee and writing Shakespeare’s 18th sonnet out in the snow…who says I’m not romantic?

I'd like to say this post started because I'm a huge movie buff and I wanted to make an outfit as an homage to a great movie that should kick arse at the Oscars this weekend. But actually, it has more to do with the crazy bite I woke up with this morning on my shoulder that bled like a stuck pig as I was getting dressed - true, but creepy story!!

Taking my wildly out of control inventory, I simply typed the word “blood”, and decided to sample of its wares. Gutterblood snuck in there with his boots, but when I realized his aptly named Homicidal Boots had blood on them I decided he could stay. Emover’s Bloody Bracers aren’t exactly bloody, but they are so damned cool, how could I say no? Don't look at me that way, you know you couldn’t either - go buy some!!

No Mercy helped me get it bloody well right with their “Blood”, which is a splattered mess that comes in three different layers, for your convenience. Oh, and the blood spatters on my Fight Club pants?? - the other guys...erm, ok, it wasn’t a guy, I ran into a light pole - moving on. Of course, what's a good bleed without bandages?? Winter Moon and Verdruss had me covered….get it??...covered??...ok, yes, I'm tired - it's either the four hours sleep a night or the obviously massive blood loss, take your pick.

I really wanted to show off the new eyes I got today, so at the risk of bleeding out, I moved my bandage to show you at least one. MR Designs eyes are realistic looking, come in a crap load of color combinations, and I like the cool reflection in them - or in the one that I still have vision out of anyways.

Everything's beginning to fade.…tell Ma I love her.…tell Dove I'm sorry about farting when she was under the sheets - oh, and tell Milla nobody dares me to rawk girl's stockingssssssssssssssss…..

When good guys turn plaid...

Ok, I really wanted to use a good guy in this post, but Nic was busy…so you're stuck with me - but I did get the plaid!! Considering the only plaid I could find in my RL closet are two kilts, it's hard to explain how much I'm attracted to plaid here…but like a cat to catnip, I saw this outfit in Indi Designs and scant minutes later, it was gracing my nubile form. The pants themselves are great, ripped up, kind of punky with the obligatory chains hanging down my arse…what really sealed the deal for me though, was the very choice greens they used in the plaid texture.

Kiki's Closet helped me wrap my plaid in delicious, leathery blackness (as if there was any doubt I would choose leather). I think the details on both the belt/boots are great, the chains and studs contrast so well against the deep black leather…they both come in three different contrast colors (black, red, and silver) - and they’re cheap - my Scottish gramps would be so proud of me!! (or not, once he found out I bought all six variations) My last ninja-shopping session produced both this good looking brown leather jacket from Arai (60 lindens gramps!!!).…and this safety pin tie from amerie's Naughty - the flexi tie has some neat detail on it, you're going to have to take my word on that…c'mon, would I lie?....much?

Being the full moon tonight, I needed a hair to wear that would look good as I sit and howl away to my neighbour's discontent (I like to call it crooning). I thought this Mohawk Neko from Find Ash fit the bill.…shaggy enough to almost be a mane, it's just wild, unruly goodness.

Speaking of unruly goodness, it's almost time for my 3 o'clock show on our treehouse strip pole.…if you need me, I'll be bringing home the bacon one folded up dollar bill at a time!!

The first time I met Feri Beckenbauer, he was wielding a ninja sword and filleting Bo in the most savage manner….needless to say, the clothes he makes could have been total shite and I would have liked them!! Fortunately for all of us, his boots and clothes are far from that.

Feri’s Razor Trench Coat was a real stand out to me, even with Bo’s blood all over it, or maybe because of that?? Either way, it's sleek and black with nine different prim attachments to flesh the jacket out with - the razor spiked cuffs and belt make the coat more menacing than Kallisto in her teddy on man prowl at Armidi.…be afraid, be very afraid!!

Another thing that Feri Beckenbauer really knows is boots…thank goodness he was great enough to make these Perish boots from the girl's outfit in men's too. I already had the black and red crayons ready to make the protest sign and it was going to get ugly!! The detail and texture on the boots are gorgeous, and the steel-toe pieces on the outside - that's the right kind of badarse - where's my harley??

For some mad reason, Bitter Thorns decided to call this hair the “Wild” hair....I think I bought it in the summer and just now stumbled on it in my inventory, as is my custom. Not only does it live up to its name by looking suitably wild, but you're also liable to poke eyes out on the dancefloor - I know, I tried!! After wearing it for two days, I was just about to take it off when I decided to read the notecard that came with it....and wow....this hair is scripted and you can retexture the color of the bangs in two sections and the main strands in two sections as well, with a choice of 12 different textures - who knew notecards had useful information??

And now, I need to put on my Borat bathing suit and head to Armidi.…I'm gonna help Kalli scare the men out of the deep grass so we can net a keeper….wish us luck!!

Purty in Pink...

I have a hangover....a Valentine's day hangover that is. Don’t be surprised, I'm not just some gruff hoodlum that wears dresses. I do have a sensitive side that loves fluffy clouds and shower shows at the local strip joint too - speaking of which (that’s a segue, bishes, take note).…there was no way I could pass up this wet t-shirt from Emporio Naima…it’s so damned cool, it’s see through in all the proper places and it definitely left me pining for this Canadian winter to end!!

Feeling sentimental, I did a “pink” search in my inventory, then painstakingly searched through the myriad of items (4) that I ended up with. As soon as I saw the word “pink” and “camos” in the same folder, I knew I had a win!! These pants from Forgotten come with prim pocket/cuff combos and I actually love the color combination…I definitely won't wait til next VD day to break them out again. One thing I wonder, though, is in exactly which environment these pants would keep you safe from the enemies prying eyes? While I was deciding on a belt to keep these bad boys up, Muism kindly informed me that they had a brand new belt just waiting for the privilege - one semi-laggy tp later, and voila!! First of all, they had me at “skull,” second, it’s the same high quality that I've come to expect from Muism, and third, I really like the “belt floppy thing” (Tm by Dove Swanson) that hangs down at the buckle.

Anyways, loaded in pink and feeling like I might be overcome with emotion at any moment, it's time to go grab Dove and do what I should have done with her on VD day if it wasn’t so hard for me to show my emotions - yes, that’s right, I'm going to grab her, build a pillow fort in the living room of the tree house and watch the entire Die Hard library with her!! Ain't lub grand?

The Matador...

After viewing at least a solid week's worth of smexy women in their lacy knickers, I was moved to make a risqué valentine's post of my own. Oh sure, I slinked around in a hawt dress earlier, but those devilish glitch pants did their job admirably and hid all my bits.…not so today!!

As I pondered on how best to show some skin, my mind kept drifting back to Pierce Brosnan’s recent movie The Matador - any misconceptions I may have had about Pierce were completely washed away when he balls-up pulled off the sweetest anti-bond scene ever. The image of drunk, aging hitman Julian Noble walking through a crowded hotel lobby in nothing but a black speedo and cowboy boots is burned indelibly into my brain…and it’s not such a bad thing!! I can't really do him justice here, but maybe, just maybe, in another fifteen years, I can in RL - I’ll meet you all at the Hotel Del Rey, Costa Rica, Valentine's Day 2023, just in time for my mid-life crisis!! Be there, you know you wanna. By the way, those aren’t Casa del Shai’s black boxers with (in)famous codpiece attached, I'm just really happy to see you!!

After wearing this around SL for a few days, my false modesty kicked in and I decided to make an outfit of it. I started it with my favorite cowboy boots, Gutterblood’s Slanders and topped them with the Reborn pants in black from AITUI. These pants are great, real versatile, easy to wear casual or semi formal - oh, plus they come in black!! Heh. I finally unpacked this sweet workshirt from WRONG that I bought lord knows when - kudos on making prim sleeves that were bigger than a condom and I didn’t have to stretch to BumfechEgypt to make fit.

Realizing I needed to buy glasses for this post, I took a mortgage out on the treehouse and was just heading to Cake Island to buy them when Dove suggested checking out primOptic. I'm glad I did, the glasses make me want to wear my sunglasses at night!! ….walking? Sure, maybe…more likely kicking arse though - all I know for sure is after the apocalypse, we might not have much food, or water, or even shelter, but apparently we will have barbwire!! A total shite load of it, I'd say, based on the amount of post-apoc, barb wired bracers, wraps, and boots you can find in SL when searching its grubby corners.

If you’re going to walk down the barb wire highway though, you need to check out Tonk Tomcat's new boots, the “Insane” boot. If you ever need to help grampa fix the fence on the “back 40,” these bishes are full of wire and nails!! Not surprisingly, the boots are high prim, full of amazing detail and textures - check out the freaking shadows under the laces, are you kidding me? As is his custom, Tonk scripted these boots too, amazingly so. They come in 3 different sizes, you can change the boot color (4), the lace colors (5), hide the barbed wire and the steel toe cap, they come with 4 different walking sounds that can be turned on and off and they will even get up in the middle of the night and change your baby's diapers!! Ok, I took liberties, but I’m sure he could do it if he wanted…

Just to be sure I didn’t run out of wire, I threw on Primitive Design's Reptile Blutnarr Bracelets - and then there’s the belt. I love this Awe Scull belt from Yukirei, just check the awesome chrome detail on the frontpiece. I did some creative modding with this belt, but only because I so dearly love editing, unlinking and deleting - not only does it help me get in touch with swearwords I thought I had forgotten, but all that teeth grinding is so very soothing.

Anyways, I need to go shite, shower and shave, I've got a hot date with singer Leslie Feist at the Orpheum tonight - the voices that talk to me through my table lamp assure me that the restraining order was a complete mistake and she really really digs me…wish me luck!!

So, when one of the up-and-coming young designers of SL drops free clothes on you, what are you going to do? Wear them of course (even if it is a dress)! The Valle Dark dress by Triangle Caudron!! I was going to wear it to the GLAM show yesterday, but somehow my invite got lost in the mail…*cough * bishes! *cough*…but never to be deterred, I decided to let my star shine today instead!!

This Valle dress from Ghost is hands down the greatest dress in my inventory - ok, it’s the only one - but that's not the only reason it's the greatest. First of all, it’s black!! I love the train, once you put it on I dare you not to twirl in circles like a blue tick hound chasing his tail. Or, squeal like a schoolgirl, the way I did, as you watch the train envelop everything around you like a sexy black fog. Triangle's texturing is getting so fine…especially check out the satin/lace glitch pants, you’ll find reasons to wear them without the dress - or Dove will find a reason for you, like she did for me last night.

After wearing the dress for a little while, I realized the only shoes that would do it justice were my old favorites - the Post Apoc boots by Gutterblood Spoonhammer. Plus, you never know when you might have to kick a drunk ape on the dance floor right in the package - and these are the kind of boots you don’t mind getting blood on!!

Complimenting this dress' awesome lacey shoulder finery is one of the new tattoos from Aitui, the Mask. Atop my dome is the Ellis hair from Muism…Dove says it makes me look purty, oh so purty, and you know, I have to agree!! Now it’s your turn, go buy it and make it work dammit!!

I saw red...

With all the Valentine's stuff on the feed these days, it was inevitable that I was going to begin rooting in my inventory for things red, crimson, wine, rose, maroon and otherwise. As I was struggling to put together something I really liked, Refuge saved the day by deciding to make my favorite leather pants (and Dove's fav arse pants) in red!! They are officially gurl pants, but I love them anyways...although, be warned, they are a little low cut, so you risk a plumber's crack - that wouldn’t be a first for me, in either life.

As great as the pants are, after seeing Cleo work them with her sexy curves, I realized I was going to need help to look half as hot. My first stop was at Versteck, for their cool star gloves and this red Striped Pullover - not only was it a great match to the pants, but just in case I get chubby eating all the chocolates I meant to give as gifts, I can blame the stripes!!

I was still working on the outfit and ninja shopping at the same time, when I came across Krius Misfit on a mission of his own - after some frenetic zooming and inspecting, I tp'd to his store, Sinistyle, and broke the bank. I decided these seven-buckle Blasphemy boots were total keepers!! The texturing is awesome and I like the way that they fall somewhere between mega-goth and scrubby biker boot, making them versatile and easy to wear with different outfits. I finished my leather buffet with the Nemesis belt and Osiris leg straps, and tossed on the Fire necklace from Primitive Designs to complete my red-hawtness (lame pun intended).

Anyways, I’m off to eat more chocolate roses and bon-bons and work on my Valentine's Day booty - watch out Cleo, I'm coming for you!!

Hump Day

Hump Day - nDefinition: the middle of the workweek, usually Wednesday - that being said, since it’s hump day, I decided to blog the suit most likely to get me humped!! The Luna suit from Casa del Shai. This suit just works so well together.…the dark navy pants and jacket look so rich, especially against the white barong shirt that comes with it. Plus, did I mention that whenever I put it on, I get humped!! It's almost enough to make you forget about the color black.…almost.

Adding shiny, humpy, goodness to my suit is this belt, the WG15 from booN - be aware, I spent a goodly sum of time modding this belt and swearing frequently all the while....but at the end of the day, this belt came out total greatness. If you’re not down, the suit does come with its own belt, but then you’d miss out on the cursing. I spent a whole day with Dove last month looking for a watch that wasn’t suck, and the winner was this Seamaster watch from SteinWerk. Not only is it a great looking watch, but it actually works and comes with a HUD that I couldn’t be half arsed ™ to ever use - it also beeps on the hour, every hour and it only took me a day to figure out where the sound was coming from!!

I figure if you’re going to own only one pair of brown shoes in SL, pick these Spencers made by Fallingwater Cellardoor. The shoes have a nice sheen and I love the details - like the straps and buckles. They're casual enough to work well with a less formal looking suit like the Luna…how well do they work, you ask? Well, I'm probably getting humped as you read this!! Or I’m at the gym, working out and looking at myself in the mirror and wondering how feching long has it been since I last got humped? Maybe I need to buy this suit in RL and get the hell out of the sweats...

I was fourteen when I bought my first car stereo....two years later I bought a car to go with it - apparently, even then I understood the greatness of accessories (thingamajiggers in Dove speak) - or I’m just arse backwards, take your pick, I’m easy.

This outfit started with me, buck naked, wearing this wickedly detailed Mechanic Belt from EKO…heh, ok, maybe I wasn’t naked, but sex sells (I read that on the internerd). Seriously, EKO is full of quirky belts and other thingamajiggers that are all similarly detailed and definitely eye-catching. I liked the way the belt worked with the Wired Wristbands from Primitive Designs - worn together, you’re guaranteed to set off any airport metal detector of your choice!!

Dove and I both got these cute little Voodoo necklaces the other day, but I'm pretty sure mine's broken - I've been checking everyday and that turd who called me a "scrubby arse nub cake" still hasn't broken out in hives!

I did find a pair of legwarmers that a dude could wear without looking like a Julliard reject. The Wild Abyssinians continue my barbwired theme and hid my thick mankles from the world at large - form and function at its best!! My Ghetto Kiddz shoes don’t have any barb wire on them, but they do have nails and checker plate caps. Geyer Schnyder of Primitive Designs just does it right in my book, which would explain the wing I had to add for him in my SL walk-in closet.

Anyways, the rest of the outfit is down there…points...see? As for me, I'm off to work that voodoo doll some more - tell me I look like "rocky before he hit the ring," will you?

A BareRose by any other name...

I broke one of my SL cherries this morning. No, not the one involving black latex, an orgy room, a strap-on and a dozen or so assorted furries. Instead, I bought....are you ready....my very first pair of cargo pants - and wow, what cargo pants they are!! Bo had one of her daily style alert IMs waiting for me at 6am this morning, telling me to get my sleepy arse to BareRose to do the fashion durty with her - how could I say no?

Cargo pants BareRose style come in three colors (as if you need any color other than black) - with five different pocket/zipper attachments…and of course, as always, are very affordable! After wearing them all day, I’m definitely moving these pants into high rotation. In fact, these are hands down my favorite cargo pants ever, and not just because they took my cherry!! heh.

Keeping my head dry today is the Mr. Smith 2 hair - Justin Timberlake, eat your heart out! It’s a hair/hat combo with a few scripted in hat color/pattern combinations, that should help it work with whatever you’re trying to rock on any given day. Dove and I spent a crapload of money the other day in a newly discovered store, the Tiki Tattoo - I’m wearing a sharkstooth necklace I bought there - check it out, especially if you’re down with island style Maori tats…or just because I say so, dammit!

I put on this wicked, grunged-up, striped sweater to hide the scratch marks Dove left last night. It reminds me of the shirt I accidentally washed with that permanent marker, but Inone Style's version is actually cool. EKO’s recovery bracelets are the kind of accessory that you keep zooming in closer and closer with your cam and just sort of stare at as you marvel at the detail. Lastly, Emery made an easy sale from me by reproducing one of my favorite RL sneakers - old skool Vans - and better yet, these don’t smell like a cat shite in them, so it's win win!!

For sure, one of the great things about SL fashion is being able to rock outfits that you might not ever wear in RL - alternately, I kind of like when I find outfits that remind me of RL moments. When Dove and I first saw this suit in =about=, shin Mathilde’s newish clothing shop, we both stopped and said “oh…untucked shirt!!” I then promptly “jinxed” her to no avail as she continued talking, breaking the holy covenant of the Jinx - damned cheater, but I digress. I love this suit, it's not the most detailed suit you’ll buy in second life, it's not a masterpiece of prim either, but I really love the sleek but messy, slightly-frumpled look. It’s one I’ve done in RL many times - it's my patented “it's almost midnight, I’m on my third bottle of wine and why the fech haven’t I hooked up with a bridesmaid yet?” look. This suit also comes with lots of options, including tucked in shirt with jacket incase you wanted to clean up your act a bit….lord knows why?

This elegant mess on my head is the Bon75 hair from Boon. Seriously, I have three of their hairs now, and I’m really hoping they make more. The prim work is awesome, the styles are hot, and most importantly, hair is like crack to me - not to be confused with having hair in your crack.…which I do.

I picked the Oslo shoes from Jeepers Creepers cus they’re formal enough to wear when you’re dressed up but edgy enough to keep on once the jacket's off and you're getting your drink on in some noisy night club at 1am. The texture and detail on the shoes is so wicked-great, but that’s par for the course from Eponymous Trenchmouth.

Well that’s it for today, I think I’m about to get a pity make-out session from Dove - but first she has to put on that sea foam dress that she rocks so well. Rawr!!!

Snow Day!!

If you are ever faced with the choice of shoveling ten inches of snow out of the driveway, or pissing around on the computer, always choose the latter - I did - besides, the snow will melt by spring anyway.

So there I was, randomly trying on hairs in my inventory, when I realized that the mohawkish Misfit Too Hair by Tami McCoy can be worn at the same time as other hairs! It happened to fit perfectly with the Good Life Broder hair in this case…creating a whole new hair…DUN DUN DUN!!! Of course, not quite as awesome as discovering how great peanut butter and chocolate taste together, but hey, it was a Monday, what do you want from me?

An ancient fashion guru once said “accessories really do make the outfit!”....okay, I lied, she's not that ancient, just slightly cougar. The point is, not only does she give great advice, but then she goes the extra mile and gives you great accessories for christmas! Thanks again Bo, for the Mechanica necklace/bracelet set from Shiny Things.

I wore a sheer shirt because seriously, when you have a Garden of Ku tattoo on, it's almost criminal to cover it up - feel free to follow my lead, I won't take pictures of your uncovered bits and save them to leer at on those cold winter nights….prolly. My random profile stalking skills paid off big time when they led me to a biker oriented clothing shop called Bobbysocks - where I found these kickarse “skull on leather” pants, they even come with their own pretty-cool belt attached!

Finally, I get to blog my all-time favorite Gutterblood boots - the Slander Boots. Not at all surprising, the details are awesome all the way around and more importantly….wait for it….wait for it - - they have spurs bitch!! I always wanted to be a cowboy or a porn star when I grew up but when I slapped these bad boys on, I suddenly realized….I could be both!! That’s how hot these boots are. Seriously, if you're still reading this and haven’t bought them yet, you are suck. Go, right now, and right that wrong - while you're at it, take a poke at my driveway…the check's in the mail.

So there I was, not so quietly sitting in the corner at the grand opening of Dove's pose shop... *cough* Long Awkward Pose *cough*...when in walked Freya and Odin, co-owners of No Mercy, both wearing the most excellent sweater I’ve seen in ages. After maybe not-so-subtlty mentioning how much I loved it, Odin gave me one, helping to solidify my man crush on him (just below Bruce Willis on my list). Simply, this sweater rawks the stripes and I'm a sucker for the colors they used - if you’re not down, go to their store and check out the other color combinations...don't argue, just do it!!

Even though Pill said it makes me look like a pirate, or maybe because she said it did, I wore my new Ellis Hair from Muism, and worked a headband in a way that Rambo only wishes he could. As is my almost daily ritual these days, I threw on some of my Primitive Designs goodness, namely my most favoritest shorts, the Fightclub Punk Pants and the Fuckd Up Socks in plum (only 13 more colors to go)!! A special thanks to Freakin Fabulous Shit for all the new belts they made this month, including this Superman buckled delight - saving the world from my plumbers arse.

No, your eyes do not deceive you…I didn’t wear boots with this outfit…but it was an easy transition to make, considering I just bought these Classik Dirty Llstar sneakers at ]monogrind[. Not only are they a classic good looking kick, but it gave me a chance to throw the odor eaters into my Klunks. Alright, time to go and watch another way-too-dark, theater-ripped movie with my partner in crime, Dove Ebert…or was it Roger Swanson...either way, tonight I'm holding the popcorn.

Pardon the intrusion of the female variety - but Law said I could! :p I've got a nice little fashion find for all the hair fanatics out there. I think it's a pretty undiscovered one, but I could be wrong ...I've not seen it anywhere or on any noggins I've been around, I don't get out much so that could be the only reason.

ANYWAY! I was hunting down a belt for Law and that adventure took me thru just about every japanese sim on the grid until I stumbled across this really cool ad for some clothing and the hair used in it made me do a double-take - just so happens that the hair was created by the same person and was for sale too! Yahoo!

The shop is called:[PlasticKisS;] and the hair is: Asymmetry. As far as I can tell it's the only hair they have made (hopefully only 'so far'). It comes with 4 different style/color combos in a box for only 150L! It's a two piece attachment, a back of the skull piece and a front of the head piece, combining for a total of almost 350 prims! Holy! But it's really original and unique, unlike anything I've seen so far...and, it's unisex - that's why Law said I could guest blog it here. Hee!

There's yellow/black, white/black, green/black and a version called 'mesh' ...three versions have longer hair in the back, and the mesh version has a blonde strand in front and shorter hair in the back. If you stop by the shop you can also pick up a free corsage that looked really cute in the hair too.

I'm gonna go back into my dark corner - happy hunting!

I own several kilts in SL….I’d like to say that’s because my parents are Scottish, and it’s a way for me to pay homage to my roots while living so many thousands of miles away - but truth be told, I’m an exhibitionist and I just love flashing my man muff any chance I get!!

Helping me share my nasty bits with the world is this great kilt from The Syndicate, the kurgan…the details are great, it comes in several colors, and it’s the only kilt in my closet that’s prim (which explains why I love it best)!!!

Keeping my kilt on today is the new Doom Belt from Primitive Design (note: this kilt comes with a prim belt attached). My fashion calculator says black leather, Viking skulls and studs = win to the third power….'nuff said, go get one now.

Staying warm despite the breeze on my junk was a concern, so I decided to throw on a pair of Fuckd Up Socks, also from Primitive Designs (comes in 15 colors!!) and this Skull Thermal from Pretty-N-Punk…great store name, yeah?

If you buy one scarf this winter, you seriously need to check out The Scarf from TonkTastic.…it's scripted with 6 different color changes, has a separate top and bottom piece, and it's covered with safety pins and cigarettes - incase you ever want to have a smoke while changing your prim baby's nappy….now you know why its called “The Scarf”…(editors note: Dove wants to remind you that smoking kills and is by no means being condoned in this post!!)

Anyways, time to go flash some groupies at Dig's show…and if I’m really lucky, Dove's gonna poo glitter for me tonight.

That being said….I’m Lawless, grand pooba of procrastination, doorman extraordinaire, wanton shopping whore, flirt of grand proportions and now blogger of any damned thing I feel like wearing. Yes, sometimes I wear tights and gurl jeans, so reap it.…

Not today though, ‘cus today is all about ghosts!! Well, one Ghost in particular - the brainchild of new designer Triangle Caudron. This is her first ever guy's piece, the “M1” vest…not only is it black leather with cool blue side panels, it also comes with an optional shirt layer and your choice of two different collars. Oh yeah, did I mention it’s black?

Speaking of black, I decided to continue what Triangle started and wear my black leather pants from Refuge, or, as Dove calls them, the “arse pants." Either way, all I know is only in SL can I go commando all day wearing leather pants and wake up, mercifully, not chafed! Looking upon all this leathery goodness, I decided to go a little crazy and break it up with....a black leather belt! Madness, no? All praise goes to Spunkies and their Neko Skull Belt.

Awhile ago, I went into Zero Number, and fell in lust so completely that I bought every pair of boots Mai Runo made, so it was easy for me to find boots to complete this leatherfest, the Engineer Boots in.…wait for it….BLACK!!!

After spending approximately a billion linden buying tattoos at AITUI, I realized the best thing about a vest is I actually get to show one off. Not only did I wear the Kaki Toto body tat....I also tried one of the new face tats (even though Boree calls them “face smudges”…heh).

Now, I know it’s not black, you’ll have to forgive me, but I had to finish everything off with some anti-bling accessories, so I threw on the new Trash Kiddz necklace and wristbands from Primitive Designs. I just had to show off my new ear and lip piercings from Skanks-R-Us…seriously, these things could have looked like shite on a stick and I still would have loved them, I mean, the store is called Skanks-R-Us!!! Does it get any better? I think not…
